EDIT: Democracy has won, PSN is no longer required to play the game.

The game itself is really good, easily among the best co-op shooters around right now and I have nothing but praises for Arrowhead Studios, who developed this amazing game.

Unfortunately, Sony is the publisher for Helldivers 2 and they have recently decided that all players must create and link a PSN account to play the game, months after it got released. Security concerns aside (PSN had several instances of user information being leaked in the past), over 170 countries on which PSN is NOT available will be unable to play the game due to this decision, essentially locking out a huge part of the playerbase from playing the game.

This is clearly a move by Sony to use Helldivers 2 explosive success as a way to artificially inflate the amount of new PSN users, essentially screwing the playerbase over so their results presentation to their shareholders look better.

The reason I don´t recommend this game has nothing to do with the game´s quality, it´s entirely due to the publisher´s anti-consumer practices.

This is a very good game,absolutely recommend you all buy it if you like hurting other people while an amazing soundtrack plays on the background.

The developers of this VN have shut-down so this is never getting it´s sequel,do not buy.

Payday 2 is a great game,you get to throw bags into vans and fix drills several times.

As you level up you can get even better at throwing bags and fixing drills,you can earn and customize masks so you can look good while throwing those bags,you can do most missions without raising an alarm for some serious stealthy bag throwing,play online co-op with 4 players for the ultimate co-op bag throwing experience!
