Probably my favorite multiplayer game in recent years but I don't recommend buying until the PSN fiasco is settled.
Sidenote: I purchased Super Credits April 11th and haven't received them yet.
Edit: I forgot to mention that the Senator has a speedloader now. +1
Edit2: Nobody has to link an account now, yay!
Edit3: The CEO is taking a personal interest in fixing the awful balancing that's been happening to this game! +1
Edit4: I'm changing my review back to "not recommended" until I see some consistently positive changes materialize. Will Arrowhead learn? Stay tuned on the next episode of - Clutching Defeat From the Cold Hard Jaws of Victory!
Edit5: I'm glad I stuck with my decision to leave the review negative, because I was right to be skeptical. Arrowhead is a company that thinks it knows what's most fun for you, regardless of what you tell them. It's looking more and more like I won't be spending money on their games in the future. Best case scenario: Arrowhead is dumb. Worst case scenario: They nerf things people like to encourage them to spend money on premium content.

Going through this game without guides for the vast majority of my first playthrough with some exceptions at the very end for the sake of finding a few well hidden optional bosses for the achievements and the remaining "Legendary" spells/incants/talismans achievements, made this game take a grand total of 136 hours to complete. By the end, I felt like Frodo after having just tossed the ring in the fires of Mt. Doom. I enjoyed, and "enjoyed" every second of it, this was probably the best game I've ever played, and after giving myself a breather I'll be diving back in to shoot for the last few achievements I was locked out of with a couple of PVP specific built characters. I can't recommend this game highly enough to anyone and everyone, no matter what your style of playing is, there are usually ways to deal with some of the more difficult areas and bosses that make this game accessible to just about anyone, even if that means sprinting for your life through areas you don't have the patience, levels, or skills to handle. You can always return when you're stronger. Areas of interest for exploration are incredibly easy to find, and nothing in particular felt "empty" in terms of content or things to do and find, there are quests and dungeons hidden all over. From Software was incredibly generous with checkpoints and places to fast travel to, limiting the amount of frustration involved with having to struggle through entire areas upon dying. 10/10

I'm writing this review for a badge. DS3 is awesome though and you should play it.
