This is a wonderful expansion, as the GOAT deserved.

The map design and art direction have peaked. The new combat additions are really fun. There are some flaws but none related to actual difficulty. Some combat mechanics such as enemy poise right now and endless combos are hurting a bit but are tolerable.

Most bosses are fair, some are very good others are meh. Last boss is truly a test of wits.

There are two types of people: the ones who like to cry about nonsense and criticize every game without even playing; and the ones who truly love gaming, and will not let that even have the slightest influence on the joy of playing a well made game. This game is REALLY f*ing good.

It's not perfect. There are some issues, the main one being performance, but it doesn't even matter when you consider all the other factors. Combat is very well done and very fun, story is OK until some point then it becomes really good. Real ending is truly memorable.

This game is awesome. Honestly, I initially just bought it to support From Software, since mech games were never my thing... but I really really liked it. Mission-based structure is a welcome breath of fresh air, mech building and customization is excellent, gameplay is very fun and fluid. Combat is tight. Story is also engaging after the first half.

The game itself is awesome, and a great entry to the monster hunting genre. However, performance is TERRIBLE on every rig, and there is a bug where the game goes full slowmo during hunts on certain maps. Barely playable.

After two weeks and two patches, the elephant in the room has not been addressed. It is unacceptable at this point. The game was not QA'd at launch, and now for some reason we get patches with some minor bugfixes instead of the important thing.

DO NOT buy it now. Wait for the real patch whenever that is supposed to come. May update my review later when it's fixed.

Besides the technical issues -mostly horrible stutters- this is not a good game. You'll be better off playing Dead Space.

Horrible "Specialists" (voice lines, models, end of match animations)
Atrocious hit-reg (and here i thought hunt showdown was bad)
Maps are too open and too big, even for 128 players.
Vehicles are OP as ♥♥♥♥.
Progression is bad to say the least.
Weapon customization was made by a 10 year old
UI Covers most of the screen, so why have a tornado, a spaceship if all you see is "A1", "B1" and "C1", opacity can't be lowered nor can be made smaller
Can't select closest servers. SA players get sent to NA servers for some reason. Playing with 130 ping feels like over 200 easily.

Honestly is insane that they released the game in it's current state. It's a Beta. It will be decent in 1-2 years, just like what happened with BF4, BF1, and unfortunately never happened with BF5. (could happen if the DICE US team gets the maintenance of the game, but not likely)

Probably will go back to play BF1. The last actually good BF game.

Good game, quite short tho. Excellent visual design.

This is a great mix between the MH formula and a turn-based rpg, with monster breeding like Pokemon. Story is cool, content and endgame is plenty, and grinding is fun.

Just one of my favorite games of all times. The gameplay is exquisite, and the amount of effort put into this game is incredible.
