This is not just XCOM. It's a katamari that rolled over XCOM, Into The Breach, several puzzle games like Sokoban and a couple of Shane Black scripts (or whomever you consider to be your favourite author of brilliant and funny dialogues). And remember to try out the other games in the Defenestration Trilogy: Gunpoint and Heat Signature.

I played the original in 1994. This remake? It is worthy.

It's not only the best Borderlands game but definitely one of the best adventure games (especially in the Telltale style) I ever played. The art direction, the story, the acting...everything is perfect.

Most realistic depiction of an exploding T-72 in modern gaming.

It's an excellent yet relaxing little puzzler with a beautiful art style; perfect for a calm evening. it is not as complex as the usual city/civ builders but has the same "just one more turn" hook.
And it's even better as a full release.

It definitely brings back the Fallout New Vegas vibes.

It's more a lifestyle than a game.

An excellent game, yet so much improved by the War of The Chosen expansion. I considered the timed missions to be a unnecessary and stressful addition but relatively quickly I grew to accept and even appreciate the change of pace (rush instead of playing it safe).

XCOM2 improves greatly on the first Firaxis game and it's definitely a worthy successor to the original UFO: Enemy Unknown. Looking forward to Firaxis's take on TFTD. :-)

Even though I feel I'm not smart enough for Zach Barth's puzzle games, I still manage to enjoy them thoroughly. Opus Magnum is no exception; a well crafted, smart and engaging game.

Things to make and do in Just Cause 3:
- explore several beautiful mediterranean islands in order to find stuff to blow up
- use your wingsuit to perform daring stunts around deadly cliffs, lovely buildings and military installations before you blow them up
- use your grapple to zoom around and/or tether people to things that blow up
- gripe at the occasional framerate drops when you blow stuff up
- use planes, mechs and automobiles to complete lots of story, acrobatic, race and blow-stuff-up missions
- ride a missile Dr Strangelove-style before it blows up
- strap a rocket engine to a cow to give it an unexpected boost*

* it also blows up
