I've played HW1, Cataclysm, HW2, and Deserts of Karak. This feels like there was a Homeworld game here but then added the cringy DEI story. The other games had better unit variety with more than "push button for a burst of firepower". What ever happened to things like the grav gen, defence fields, thing that added to the strategy. This is not the Homeworld that I remember.

Edit: For the story when she says that should be impossible to hyperspace in objects didn't remember that in Deserts of Karak one of the missions had ships hyperspace into the planet and be fine.

Edit 2024-06-11: Well looks like a Moderator or 2 are being political and started a banning spree for not liking furry art in the discord. Still going to keep it negative.

Due to the mandatory PSN account linking I refuse to get a PSN. With their security track record, I don't feel safe giving them my info. It was a good game, but again greed ruins another game.
