I've only managed to do a few endings down one particular branch but I've already been destroyed emotionally several times.

I mean this is a good way, a good cry can be quite cathartic.

Worth several times its price. Surprisingly deep despite the deceptively simple premise

I understand the company's desire to block malicious clients, but the malicious clients will work around the EAC as they do in every game and we'll be left with the worst of both worlds. Many mods allow for increased accessibility. I cannot physically use vrchat without a few of them due to accessibility issues. I literally cannot use this program anymore if these changes go through as is.

I was looking forward to eventually carving out enough time to learn Neos. However, with their move towards cryptocurrency and NFTs it will likely be banned from Steam soon. I cannot support a product that willfully uses environmentally and market destructive currencies.

There are criticisms of the game that have been made to death on twitter. I'm not going to mention any of those because they are not relevant at this very moment.

The fact of the matter is the game is completely broken and I can't go more than a few minutes without having to reload because something janky happened or I died due to a bug, or failed a quest due a bug. RIght now I can't even launch the game, it crashes on startup after the first flash of logos. I did a bare bones clean reinstall of the OS, it just won't run. It runs on my other, non-gaming, machines though of course quite slow. I literally cannot play this product as of the 1.05 patch, so this may in the future have the flag that I refunded it. There is a potential good game underneath of this, but it isn't here yet and I am not going to waste any more time trying to play something so bug-ridden that it is simply a slog just to deal with all the technical issues preventing me from even trying to pay attention or enjoy the story.

I'll probably come back to it in a year when it's actually finished. I really do feel sorry for the developers that spent so much time on the game. What they wanted to do is there, but it's clouded by mismanagement and a rushed launch.

Took about 7 tries, but Valve finally authorized a refund for this game. I can't even run it anymore, if it's installed windows stops booting. Had to use safe mode to get back into it and uninstall denuvo before I could enter it regularly. Soon as I entered single player mode, it installed and bricked it again. Completely unplayable. Glad that valve will issue refunds past the 14days/2hour limit. They will only give you steam credit though. If you want a refund you need to open a help ticket, not use the automated system and explain exactly why you want a refund.

If you liked FTL or other rogue-lite/like games like it, you will enjoy this. There's much greater depth in the story and enviroment as well. The fact you can retry over and over is even cleverly explained in universe.

If you're the sort of person that likes to hear crazy dwarf fortress stories from friends yet can't be bothered to learn how to play that game but still want to have your own stories in the same vein.

Then you should probably play this game.

If you play a Civilization game and say this isn't nerdy or time consuming enough. This game might be for you.
