I have over 1000 hours of this game and its easily one of my favourite games of all time. It has the best parts of all other extraction/looter games but in a fantasy/medieval setting - there is no other game that has hooked me like this! Cannot recommend more

Nice

I didn't read anything about this game before I bought/played it. I knew a couple people who had played it and recommended it and I remember there was a wide variety of videos on YouTube (but I never watched them).

The initial thing that attracted me to Firewatch was its stunning art style and when it came on sale, I thought I'd buy it.

And my final verdict is what a beautiful story game this is; I believe the ending is open to many interpretations.

I don't really want to say anything about Firewatch itself because I think the experience of playing it with no preconception is a good thing.

Next time its on sale, buy it and I promise you won't regret it.

This game is free and if it wasn't I'd still pay good money for it. Endless fun and is just a good laugh; and when its free how can you not give it a go?

I axed a naked woman's corpse and it exploded, catapulting me across the sky and killing me.

This game is amazing. It's not a gameplay game, its a storyline game, and everything you do affects everything that goes on later in the story.
You really connect with the characters whilst you play it and I honestly had a tear or two in my eye in the last scenes of this game; it got me real good.
Once there's a sale on for Season 2 then i'm definitely going to buy it.
I highly recommend this game, its amazing.

As a big fan of zombie survival type games, DayZ really attracted me. I bought ARMA2 with all the add-ons to play DayZ when it was a mod, and I personally found it quite difficult to play as well as different servers making me have to start fresh with no inventory also; therefore I rarely played it that much.
As soon as I saw it become standalone, I took the risk in spending £20 on a game in alpha and I'm glad I did. Obviously the game is a little bit glitchy with zombies walking through walls and floating through the ground but besides that, I find it alot easier to play than the mod. You can join any server and carry on from where you last left it and although currently there are only a few weapons and no vehicles, it's still great to play!
I highly recommend this game, could easily cost £40 once it's finished.

One of the best RPG games of all time, for sure
