Slender starts off decent enough but quickly devolves into something pointless and irritating. The repetitive gameplay is only slightly improved from the first game, and the story, while it certainly has potential, is rushed and just doesn't quite make sense in the end. The atmosphere is eerie enough, but the game doesn't use that to its advantage. There's no slow build of suspense or horror. They just throw everything at you, repeatedly, to the point where there's just no scare or thrill to it anymore (if there ever was). In the end, I was mainly relieved the game was so short.
