It looks absolutely beautiful, but for me that was where the good things ended. The story is not that compelling and the controls feel frustrating to the max. The character feels sluggish and sometimes jumping makes you go ???? because you're not sure if you're supposed to make that jump or not.

I tried to like it, but I just couldn't make myself slog through it any longer. Maybe a person with a love for platformers would love this more, but for me it was just a big meh.

I admit I'm not really that good at this game, but I had a lot of fun playing it. Once you get a grasp of the mechanics in learning how to play it, you can focus more on matching the music.

Simple yet effective graphics + some great song choices here.

It's a fun game with a very unique concept, but after having played the second game first (112 Operator), I didn't feel like putting that much time into this one. It's basically the same, but the mechanics are more polished in the second game. Still, it's a good game as far as management simulations go. Just starts repeating itself far too fast.

I accidentally played the second part before this one, but it doesn't really affect the ability to follow the plot at all. The second part feels far more polished than this one does, but Serpent Creek has a pretty trippy plot and some interesting puzzles. At one point I got stuck when I set one of the puzzle pieces aside and I could no longer pick it up. I had to restart the entire game, but fortunately this was pretty much in the beginning of the game.

Otherwise it was a decent little puzzle game.

This is the first hidden object game by Artifex Mundi that I have played and I had a lot of fun with it. The graphics are pretty and the voice acting is okay. The puzzles are fairly easy to figure out but they are entertaining. The plot was pretty wild, too! I'd definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a relaxing experience solving puzzles and of course, finding hidden objects.

Are you into difficult platformers? If yes, then you'll probably like this game. It's got unique graphics and a story and it's certain to have enough content to keep one entertained.

I admit I am NOT a fan of platformers but as I'm going through my library, I at least make an effort to try each game I own. This is a tricky platformer so casual fans of the genre might find it offputting. It's also sometimes difficult to understand where you need to go next in the map, so in the end I just gave up and admitted this one is not for me. There's not enough story or substance there to keep you going unless you simply relish the challenge of beating platformer levels.

The idea is interesting and I like the thought of advancing through generations and leaving inheritance for the children and teaching them new skills so that they'd have an easier time advancing in their lives. The system this game has is very frustrating, though, with marriage being so random or siblings constantly quarreling with each other.

I'd only recommend it for a very cheap price, otherwise it just didn't feel like a lot of fun to play for me.

I like building and crafting stuff the most and I will most likely return to this game a little bit later when I have more time to play it.

It's got a fun concept and quite a bit to figure out at first. The problem is that the more you play it, the more you stumble into the same random scenarios, making them less interesting. Having a full crew doesn't seem very smart, either, since you need to be constantly scrounging for food.

It's fun to play through a character's story once, but after that it just keeps repeating itself and I see no real incentive to keep playing it after a while, but it's still a fun game to try out.
