It's not for me.
I feel so irritated with how the game controls and how it handles parrying.
Its really important to parry, but the window changes depending on the enemy's attack and the weapon you are holding.
I get confused when the game highlights some attacks with warnings but not others. I get confused when I see the icon to interrupt an enemy with my pistol, and my character does nothing because I'm not looking close enough at them.

I wanted to get a lot out of the cooperative mode with my friends. But this game follows a philosophy that you have to earn your fun. The character classes and weapons start off in a weakened state that is barely enough to be functional on easy mode. You need to get experience and level up the weapons and the classes, and you can only do that by playing with all of them. So the game rewards picking one class and one weapon and fully leveling them up, then starting over at the bottom of the ladder with the next one.

Thats separate from how sparse the ammunition is. I want to be able to shoot enemies, especially as the heavy machine gun class, but I am punished for that by running out of ammunition and being swarmed by melee enemies that can take 1/4 of my bullets before being staggered.

I thought playing more time would sort things out but it just reminded me of all the things that get under my skin.

It's a fun and beautiful game that plays like a relaxed puzzle.
Destroying and rebuilding your factory costs no resources, so I feel free to experiment and try new designs and layouts.
And if you like more restrictions, the game has difficulty settings where you can limit your factory space, the number of pieces you need to reach the goal, and the price of blueprints!

This one is a ton of fun. It reminds me of Total Annihilation and Satisfactory. You fly around a little ship, build your base, harvest resources, and use turrets and factory units to defend and destroy the enemy. A little tower defense, a little real time strategy, a little factory simulation, and a little puzzle. A good time!

It's fun! It's easy to get frustrated and lost. I got a lot of help from looking up guides, playing through the tutorials and the tutorial campaigns, and testing out ideas on a blank map with infinite money.
Whenever I felt stuck, I would start over and apply the lessons I learned. That helped me keep going.

Its fun to manage your resources, learn what powers to bring on which missions, and contribute to the galactic war effort.

5/5/2024: Sony has cancelled the requirement for a PSN login.

5/4/2024: I don't like the requirement to sign in with a playstation network account. The game functions without it. The requirement adds nothing for the consumer.

It's fun, creative and interesting. Lots of radical ideas for the RTS genre. Keep a guide handy for the occasional bug and unclear mission puzzle.

i like the Firefight cooperative horde mode, and the cooperative campaign. I like how the developer keeps working on the game, updating it and adding new features like Forge and the Firefight mode.

Its ok.

I like learning about the different countries by playing through the war as them.

I got to play through the whole campaign with my friend. We used direct connecting through the console.
I wouldn't have finished it without the fun of cooperative play.
