Fun little rhythm game! Writing this review after playing through 2 individual LVLs and then finishing the full playlist of 72 songs. I don't think it would be unreasonable to say that you can easily get an hour of playtime out of this if you're experienced with rhythm games and want to FC the entire game in 1 go.
Game could be improved by having an adjustable notespeed, as some of the harder songs with fast note sections can get hard to read at the current set notespeed, and by having an in-game quit button as I had to alt+enter and close the window to quit the game.

Revita is a fantastic roguelite! It is nicely focused in its core, just shoot and dodge stuff and simply go from room to room. On top of that is the core gimmick of everything costing health, there is no other currency to spend in your runs, making every encounter and choice important since every bit of health is a potential upgrade. The game starts out fairly easy, especially compared to other games in the genre, but with every run you beat you have the ability to increase the difficulty through "shards", with many secrets hidden behind equipping several shards per run. Even with those, the difficulty curve feels nicely balanced.

All in all, it's a fantastic game in every aspect that feels both focused in its design while also offering a ton of secrets and late-game depth and discoveries!

Fun experience overall! The setting and enemies were very cool, and most of the set pieces were interesting. I did feel like the pacing near the end was a bit off; the first 75% was paced nicely with new enemies and characters being introduced but nearing the end, when you get to the last 2 areas, it feels a bit meandering like it needs to wrap stuff up.
Some puzzles felt like the dev thought there needed to be an interaction there, 1 or 2 instances where I picked up the solution to a puzzle before getting to it, or the key-item was a couple of steps away. The game could have been a bit more streamlined if those were cut out (giving toilet paper to the person on the toilet for instance).
Apart from being able to walk off the map near the lake, having to reset in the maze because a hallway was blocked, and a prompt not appearing, the rest of the game went smooth! The unique visuals, and great music and story made for a fun experience!

All I ever do in this game is catch fish and give them to Riah. Can't recommend enough!

A well written story with great music and animations; that uses it's game-form as more than just an interactive movie. Every character you meet has multiple layers to them, which makes exploring the world and it's people a real treat. An one-of-a-kind experience that I can recomend to anybody!

Makes playing guitar alone A LOT more fun. Weekly DLC is a big plus. Dynamic difficulty works fine most of the time but can be a bit easy on tracks you haven't played before. Multiplayer is awesome when it works, but audio lag just keeps stacking until it becomes unplayable. Not being able to download a profile from a friend is a huge bummer, and creating a profile for them to be able to join multiplayer is a hassle.

Recomended if you can play a little guitar or bass and what to make playing alone fun.

If you stay on top of the game, and make the right decisions, you'll win for sure! But if you don't have a strategy, or just do random moves, you'll get rekt!

Looks deceivingly easy, but there is more to it than meets the eye!
