I mean I just enjoy COD and playing with friends makes everything better. It's not a fantastic game by any means but easy to pick up and have fun with friends. ♥♥♥♥ COD HQ though

I grew up on this game so it does have a huge nostalgia effect on me I will admit. But the campaign is absolutely amazing with the story, mission variety, and just everything else. Multiplayer is perfection and should be the staple on any game with tons on tons of customizing and loadouts with plenty of game modes to suit your style and desires. I remember sinking HOURS into infection which was my favorite along with SWAT and Snipers. Forge was just everything creators could want and while I didn't take advantage of creating myself, the memories that exist from those maps are eternal. Being invited to random customs to play games of Duck Hunt, Fat Kid, Death runs, and more were some of the highlights of my childhood and making those random friends for a night on a random weekday always made it a good day. I had every achievement but 1 on my Xbox 360 (screw you 343 when they changed queues and I needed a specific map pack) so you know I was heavily involved in this game. Can't wait to sink more hours into this masterpiece and finally play the other campaigns.

In all fairness this game is really good and a masterpiece in almost every way. However there are a few things that keep me from giving this a 10/10 and will stay at a 9/10. Some bosses or dungeon bosses feel like a large difficulty spike after beating literal gods or demigods. Two of these instances were the Valiant Gargoyles and Black Knife Tiche. Don't get me wrong I love a good challenge but like I just fought a literal void god in Astel and now this random assassin is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me up more than he could? And those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gargoyles love to spam poison breath which seems like an oversight. There are a few others like this but these were my main two.

My other "complaint" is more a personal preference and I know people disagree based on how they like to play. That being said, I would have liked some more QOL changes such as letting me know when I've completed a dungeon, a little clearer on where certain NPCs are, and a basic quest tracker. Now I know what you're thinking by that last part but hear me out. I don't need the game to hold my hand and tell me exactly where to go and what to do but I would like keeping them organized and at least some very basic information about what to do. For example once you start certain NPC questlines like Ranni or Sellen letting us see our current task maybe just as simple as find the city of Nokron would be appreciated keeping it organized. As for the main quest, something along the lines of once you have two great runes and talk to Ofnir, just a little note in the tracker saying "Journey to the capital Leyndell".
