Great game. The gameplay itself is nothing too great, but the story and its characters really pulls you in. Coming from NieR: Automata, the game managed to keep up with my high hopes quite well. The new content added for this remake surpassed what I expected and gave the game a better closure.

I feel like such activities as fishing, garden cultivation and resource farming were all much more tedious than they needed to be. Same goes for the majority of the sidequests. Going for 100% in this game was not as enjoyable as in NieR: Automata, but not horrible. But it's optional after all. :)

After completing Automata years ago, it was great to experience its predecessor. I feel like I gained some insight into where Automata came from - story and gameplay wise.

Become god. Die to some random ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ anyway. Repeat.
