Great game, takes a bit to learn what to do and how to play. But once you've got the hang of it you can have loads of fun.

Be patient and find the right game with people willing to help you learn and you'll have a good time.

Surprisingly fun game, would recommend when on sale. Really easy to learn game.

It has come a long way since its release and has provided hours of fun and enjoyment for me and my mates.

Could I recommend this game? Maybe

Maybe when it is in the right place and is functioning well. I have had Stadnalone since the day it came out and I have been playing DayZ for many years prior to that. But this game still has a long way to go and I really want to see it succeed.

It has a great concept and is the only one of its kind that managed to get all types of game mechanics working together. But in saying that. One of the reasons this game is failing is that the community don't help it. There are the keyboard Commandos that insist that the game is the best and wont take any negative feedback.

On the other hand there are the ones that keep pushing for the game to be more realistic. Like the game is a pain in the arse as it currently is. If you spawn and its raining you are not gonna have a good time. Loot does not respawn quick at all.. like I have spawned into servers and run for probably a good hour and just go through buildings with nothing in them. And there are people calling to have this made even more difficult to achieve.

In all this game could be great and dayz will always have a strong place in my heart from my memories with mates. But if you really wanna try DayZ and have a good experience. Get the Arma 2 Epoch Mod. It is a lot more enjoyable.

It is a shame the current game gets defended by people that are too stupid to accept criticism

When you are not playing with the special kind of people this game is amazing, especially when you get a great game of competitive! 10/10 would recommend
