My feelings towards this game may have been a bit different if I didn’t get it for £1. It’s fairly linear but the lovecraft/Geiger inspiration is worth the cost even for a borderline walking sim. It had great potential - would have been nice if it was a bit deeper.

I wouldn’t have been happy if I had paid 11.99 but I’d say if you can pick it up for under a fiver, give it a whirl.

If you have an ultra wide and don’t like the pillarbox effect I would avoid this. The atmosphere of the game seems good but I can’t play on half the screen or with it stretched out.

I love this game, the combat is janky, the graphics look crappy without modding and overall it's not aged well - but it's flaws make it fantastic. Having said that, it's lack of stability on current gen hardware makes it difficult to recommend this title. If you're selling it on the store, it should work. I had to do all sorts of tweaks just to get it to play but it isn't stable.
