CS:GO Review
This game... I don't even know where to begin so I'll keep it short and sweet. This game is FUN. Plain and simple. It has challenge, great in game mechanics, and a huge playerbase. At times it can be toxic or down right awful, but no matter how mad it makes me, I always come back for more.

One of the better modern shooters of this current generation. Yes I know, its COD and everyone just thinks its the same old. But I really think they did a fantastic job with this game. Now its no CoD2 or CoD4 but it is still a fantastic shooter multiplayer wise.
Story is okay (not as good as BO1) and I like the approach they took with the story this year, sadly I don't feel like it hit the mark as well as they were attempting, but the different variety this year of missions made for a nice change of pace.

Mutiplayer I felt was much more balanced than it has been in previous years. Compared to MW3, this is a much more stable and fun game. MW3 was tons of fun but things always felt a bit unbalanced, BO2 feels much more balanced and overall fun. It still has its typical CoD (or I guess modern FPS) issues of lag, "rubber banding", and BS moments that make you want to throw your keyboard through your monitor, but nonetheless its one of the more fun games on steam for those looking to get their quick arcade action shooter fix.

Zombies just felt.. like there was way to much. I feel like the entire reason I enjoyed zombies in WaW and even BO1 was due to the fact it was a simple and fun mode to just have fun. I felt like with BO2, there is just WAY to much going on for it to be fun anymore. I feel like the point was to just kill waves of zombies and trying to survive, BO2 zombies feels like you have to do a billion tasks and killing zombies is just something you have to deal with. I much prefer the older simple model because I felt like it adds to the fun factor of just mindless fun. Now I'm not saying this zombies is bad, but I feel like in a comparsion to the simple pick up and play aspects of multiplayer, zombies is overally complicated this year around.

All in all I give it a solid 7/10 as a modern shooter, but is one of the better CoD titles since MW2 or even CoD4. The multiplayer still has a couple thousand online at any given time so if you are in a highly trafficed area, games aren't to hard to find, especially during peak hours. I would recommend this game to any FPS fan who just wants some quick fun but also longevity in their multiplayer experience.

Simple and fun game to just laugh at and half a nice time. Worth the small price tag for big fun!

I bought this game full price and I have to say, I found it to be fantastic. Now I did have a few issues with the game, mainly the fact that the pacing felt a bit off, I didn't quite enjoy how they decided to break up the action with "go and find this random item missions" but I did feel like the really took a very basic idea (lets go and kill everything) and actually add some sort of depth and story to it. I actually felt some real emotions playing this game that I haven't felt since Bioshock Infinite. Call me a softy if you must but I feel like this game got the story right. Yes, some parts are just bad, but overal story wise the game is pretty good for a twist on a classic shooter. The gameplay is fun and excited. There are a few moments where it feels just way to repetitive but then again is it a remake a classic basic shooter. All in all I would give this game a solid 7/10. Pretty good story, fun gameplay, and great visuals. Its everything one could want in a modern shooter. It doesn't try to hard to be something it isn't yet still has enough of a story to keep someone who wants one interested, and the story isn't overdone to the point where people just out to kill Nazis will be overally annoyed with it. I 100% recommend picking this game up for fans of classic and modern shooters alike.

TL;DR verison? You kill Nazis on the moon. Buy this game. The 60 bucks might be hard to swallow but for diehard shooter fans its worth it. For everyone else, let the price drop and snap this game up.

I just finished my first playthrough of this game and I must say it was one of my favorite gaming experiences and I know I have yet to fully explore the game as I focused on the main story. As an avid South Park fan for a few years now I have to say the amount of little easter eggs and call backs to past shows really made this game feel like it was on another level. The gameplay was fun and paced well (and this is coming from someone who can't stand RPGs let alone Turn Based RPGS) and added a new dynamic that I feel many mainstream games lack. I fully recommend this game to any South Park fan or even just someone who enjoys a good funny RPG that can be a bit over the top but always tries to stay along a certain path. The story did have some weird plotholes but nothing that can't just be looked over. I can't wait to play through this game again as soon as possible trying all the different classes. This is defenitly going to be the first game I 100% in my steam catalogue of almost 200 games.
