This game is Democracy Manifest!

RNG at its worst. The story is great and I really do want to get to the end but after repeatedly losing because of a bad roll of the dice I can't continue. (Not being able to reach new systems and not having the tech to reach further is a non progression bug, randomly damaging both my methods of resource gathering and having no way to repair or rebuild them is a non progression bug.)
The game plays like a great choose your own adventure book where you roll a die after each page and if you get a 1 you burn the book.

Full disclosure: I am a friend of the developer and have worked with him before. Having said that, I don't review games unless I really think they deserve it. And this game certainly does! I have been keeping a curious eye on this game from the very early prototypes (pun intended) and it completely delivers on everything I want from this sort of game. Stunning visuals, interesting story and most importantly of all, challenging puzzles! If you played Myst or the more recent "Room" games on your phone, this game is for you. Read more reviews if you must, but you are just cutting into time you could be playing the game!

Played the table top with a mate back in my uni days. So far the game is really capturing the feeling of what it was like to play the table top game. I played a few rounds with what is already there and I know the game is in good hands, I don't want to touch it again until full release. Looking forward to the final game!
