So far, this game has been a lot of fun! There's something about setting up a mobile base armed to the teeth with guns, while also sending out mining drones that just hits the spots.

Wish I could build my own tanks/bots though to send out against the onslaught that comes for me.

Still in the Lesser Zone. Creepin around at night, looking for a stash with my newly silenced PTM. Lights are mostly off except for a lamp for ambience. It's night IRL too. Windows in my room are open cause we tryna save power and it feels great outside. Hear something growling nearby, no idea what it is, thinking a flesh. Creeping around, trying to catch a look at whatever this beast is to know how I need to deal with it. With a loud bang my bedroom door slams shut due to wind picking up outside. Now need a change of pants and new headset.

10/10, would brown my pants again.

Fantastic game, especially with friends. There are some minor bugs but the devs are constantly releasing patches and keeping us updated on progress and known issues they're working on.

Pros:
- Guns feel punchy and most have their place. The devs work hard to make different guns fill different roles.
- The game is hectic, but in a fun way. Higher difficulties are fun in most cases
- Friendly fire can be hilarious

Cons:
- some guns don't feel like they do their job, those these are few and the devs are constantly adjusting balance to make underperformers feel better.
- some missions in higher difficulties can feel impossible, though this can also be a pro if you're into the narrative as it fits in with the story

TLDR: it's a fantastic game with a great community and devs that seem to give a damn. My advice is don't try and grind everything out. That takes the fun out of it. Find a good group and have some laughs or become a solo pro.

I'm loving the mix of RPG and RTS elements in this game. While the RPG side isn't as deep as say Divinity or Baldur's Gate, and there really isn't a whole lot of synergy in the skill trees, I think it is well balanced to go with the RTS side of things. Both sides are relatively simplistic so neither really overpowers the other. I think this plays out well.

A beauty of a strategy game. Do you like defense building? Do you like blowing ♥♥♥♥ up? Do you like throwing all of your units at an AI only to have them all die? If you answered yes to any of these, then this is the game for you.
