First of i'm only 7.4 hours into ashen at this point but i can honestly say that if you give this a negative review because of it not having customization option for a face? you my friend are weird.. After 3-4 hours i never even though about the face of my character since i was mostly seeing the back of it also getting new armor/helmets. The same thing applies to Souls tho when it comes to armor spending hours making that character just to have helmets on for an entire run..Anyway enough about that.

Ashen so far has been fantastic in my opinion from the atmosphere of the world to the voice acting to the enemy types in each different area, i also urge you heavily to do the side quests since everytime you do it the will slowly build up the main camp where you return to for most of the game just seeing you making progress within the story is actually really charming

I see a lot of the negative reviews are mostly 1) How hard it is in the tutorial [Honestly do not understand why]. 2) That the Co-op is very bad, my personal experience is that after you go through the first area there is never a problem with co-oping yeah sure it might take a minute to load into the things as your friend otherwise it's been fantastic much easier then all the 3 dark souls in my opinion.

What i'm saying is do you want a fun adventure with a open world where you can essentially climb, jump, and do a co-op climb almost where ever you want! you should get this and if it gets on sale it's super worth since you and your friend can sink so many hours into this with different builds and what not do not let this game pass you if you like souls like.
