30+ hours for me to beat the main story of this playable work of art. You watch one video essay (or two, or seven, but really who's keeping count?) and suddenly these extrasensory freaks are all you can think about. I usually stray away from platformers since they always feel so clunky or slippery, but something about the way this game handles felt so wildly different to me. I don't think any replay of this game will come close to the weight and gravity it holds the first time, but that is not at all to discredit the powerful narrative and thrilling twists all throughout. The worlds are gorgeous, and the characters run the gamut from hilarious to wicked to profound.

Also, BZ & HF have my heart.

the amount of friends of mine who made their own tabletop games using this as a platform is sickening, and all the games they've made are so profoundly confusing it makes my brain want to cry. 10/10 it's really fun
