Yo!
Just some loser who enjoys reading a good book with some coffee on a sunny afternoon. I don't even like videogames.

The first Age of Empires was a game that defined the RTS genre way back in the '90s. It's one of the classic Windows games everyone has played before. That being said, should you spend €20,- to what is essentially a 20 year old game?

Yes. Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is everything the original was and more. It has all the classic campaigns with those from the expansion packs included, all with stunning visuals that mimic the old-school feel of the original while being a significant update at the same time. The game looks exactly what you remember the original looking like.

I haven't played a lot of other RTS games, so I might be biased, but Age of Empires is one of those games that is endlessly fun, replayable and, with the newly improved AI, challenging.

Microsoft made one of the best remasters in recent memory, and all for €20,-. You'd be a fool to skip out on this, whether you're here to relive old memories or step into ancient warfare for the first time; you're guaranteed to have a good time.
