Disclaimer: This game is barely 5/10 for me. I don't want to push bad review just in honor for the first game.

* I really do not think that 3rd person view is great for this game. It slows down the rythm of action scenes a lot. And there are lot of action in this game. It feels better in platforming, but I do 90% action vs. 10% platforming and that's not a good looking ratio.
Devs made a lot of fun animation of interactions with different objects, but they could just save money and make the game first person.

* Game lost a lot of it's jokes and funny moments. First one was not afraid to be on the edge of humour/offence. In this game most of the time you scan something it just tells you "It's a plant" or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like that. And believe me - it's a lot to scan. I would say 3-4 times more you had to scan in the first game. And you have to do that if you want sweet-sweet upgrades for your equipmet

* Many things from ads to assets and sounds were just borrowed from the first game. And we are in complete different part of the universe - why would you have the same fauna and flora? Honestly, it just feels lazy from the devs.

* Progression is now divided into 'planets' so you have to use teleportation. Which for me ruins the flow of the game. You could reach almost all the parts of the first game via naturally going from one place to another on your feet.

To review it all... It is definetelly not a bad game. It would be a great separate game, but not the second part of the game I love and adore. I did all the main quest, but I have no interest in going back and making in 100% or getting as many achievments as I can - which I did with first game.

Great 8-10 hours tho

Early Access Review
- Go 1.5km to a store
- Buy only one thing
- Go back 1.5km to a quest guy
[ ] Repeat this loop for about 20 times

Tutorial is so boring I can't make myself play it more. You drive back and forth for at least 5-10 minutes each time to complete a quest or a dialog which takes at most about 20-30 seconds.

Update: Forgot to mention but the optimization is BAD. Barely got 50fps on my 3060 on high settings, when I can have solid 90 in Last of Us 2. Fix your junk before release.

It's a great game and I liked almost every aspect of it. Still needs a little love and polish here and there, but nothing critical that can't or won't be fixed with a couple patches

15/10 overall

+ New mechanic about building roads and bridges is really why I pre-ordered this game. It is not easy to do, but it is a fun experience. You probably shouldn't do it solo though (but you can hire bots to help you). Pretty fun to do with friends
+ Trees are now more.. Movable. If you don't like the way it is growing - drive something heavy over it and you will probably destroy it. It is a nice change after trees in Snowrunner. Some trees on the ground are still unmovable though
+ I think I like mew map style more than in Snowrunner. It is easier to understand. Waypoint are different and highly customisable (you can choose a type of waypoint and its color)

- Crane controls are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and I struggled a lot
- A and D inverts every time you drive backwards on tracked vehicles
- Dirt is simplified and feels more watery
- Driving is pretty arcade. No choosing your gear - just full auto. And lower gears seems to not work at all - you just drive slower without increase of power. I was using lower gear a lot in Snowrunner and never used it in this game

= Didn't have any problems with perfomance paying on my 3060 portable with settings on High (Shadows - middle). But there is no way to turn of DLSS of FSR or TAA. It is always on, which I do not really liked.
= Graphics are just the same as it was in Snowrunner

You can have fun in this game, especially with friends and when you don't compare it to Snowrunner much. Controls are janky sometimes, but arcade. Building experience was exciting and I still glad I build my bridge to get over the lake in first map quicker and easier. I pre-ordered this game and I will gladly play it on release. Hopes they fix the controls and least

Only god know how much would I like to be good at this game. But every time I am 10% better than other players in lobby it feels SO good.

This game is not for everyone. It's quick, it's skill-dependant, it's unforgivable. But you just gotta get good or loose.
Go try it. It's free. And devs release updates once in a couple months with new content and balance-fixes.

This is one of few times, when Steam really needs a neutral review.

I was waiting and hoping for DLC since the original game came out, which I am a big fan of, with 100% achievments done, but...

1. New map is too small. It is about size of any map in the base game, but it is the only map you will see for every day of DLC. Sometimes game will tell you to go here and there, but in the end - still the same map. And when you figure out you can use MSU inside - it's even smaller. Space station is just not feeling...Space enough

2. New tools are just outrageous. At first I was very happy to see some new ways to interact with stuff. But oh my god. My hands were stuck more times than I can count. Why do you make turning on and off button the same as clip on and off? Do you know we have more buttons on joystick than 3? So many times I wanted just Alt+F4...

3. And why optimisation is so bad? I was playing on Steam Deck. And where I could play solid 60FPS on the base game, I've barely got 30 sometimes in the DLC. I understand there is a bigger map with lots of junk on it, but we had big maps in the original game too, but with no problems.

4. The End is just... Boring. Go there, collect junk, now go there drill stuff, now go there place a rocket and that's all. That's not even close to the amount of satisfaction I've got after completing base game for FOUR times. It was still fun. DLC is not fun even once.

My conclusion is...
I don't know. This is a small studio of only two people, I get it. And if this was a first game, not DLC, I would love it. But after seeing what you can, this DLC feels like not a child of love, but a child of 'man, people ask for more content and we need more money. let's do it for 2 months and say we worked for a year'
I don't believe you've got 30 testers and no one said a word about jankiness of tools, and boring mechanics.

Buy this game and DLC on sale. Make this two guys a little profit for their work. But I believe they can do better. And I hope to see some new announces from them.

You are in space with up to 4 friends. What can go wrong, right?

The design is stupidly simple. You can control the hands of your space man. You can grab. You can hold. You can put some instuments on your waist. And you can wiggle your legs a little. That's really it.
But to master it you will spend good 10-15 hours or else be prepared to get frustrated on every corner of your space station.

The game is even better with your friends on the couch or via Steam Remote. If you can't move around your station properly, imagine three more people trying to do the same. Push them out to open space, bonk them with wrench or just grab their leg and take to the most beautiful jorney of their life

The game is solid 10\10. Did all 25 achievments and really looking forward for DLC.
But you should consider that game is kinda short right now. For 8 hours I did it for 100% and I am not the best at this game. I hope DLC will bring a ton of new content
