Good fun with friends and great representation of the 40k factions but a bit lacking in certain areas, also the DLCs are hella expensive.
Get it on sale.

After playing one or two games with this DLC I must agree with the others, this should have been added to the game for free, on top of that it's way too expensive for what it adds.

It's also worth mentioning that while being able to tailor your leaders is nice it will also increase the amount of pop-ups you have to manage throughout the game, which can become quite tedious.

This game has more bugs and bots than TF2

It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess, it can give you awesome moments but those will be only like 5% of the time you spend playing this buggy, unoptimised, devoid of content game. As it is right now you are paying 20 bucks just for a bunch of promises, and this comes from someone who owns a copy of Star Citizen, at least that game has a bunch of content.

To keep it short: Vermintide 2 is a Left 4 Dead clone set in the rich universe of Warhammer Fantasy and with a much higher focus on melee combat rather than shooting.

You are part of a group of unruly heroes that must take on numberless hordes of vile ratmen and fanatic barbarians to save the world! (... or not. Google "Warhammer End Times" to see what i'm talking about).
There are 5 distinct characters to play and level up, each with access to 3 different classes as well as many talents and weapon types to choose from, which means lots of possibilities!
Gear of varying quality is acquired at the end of each mission depending on the difficulty setting and your team's ability to find various tomes and grimoires and carry them to the end of the level. Unwanted gear can be melted into materials to craft new equipment or reroll the stats of your weapons until you get exactly what you wanted.
This means that the game can get quite grindy but if you enjoy games like Diablo this shouldn't be a big problem. In fact you might find it fun.

Overall Vermintide 2 is a great quality game and it's price tag is quite the deal so I recommend buying it straight away (specially if you have a group of friends to play with), but just in case watch some gameplay on youtube first to make sure this game is for you.

As a last note, don't worry too much about the DLC, it's not necessary to enjoy the game. Play the base content first and add more if you really like it.

let's be honest here, what other survival game pits you against over a hundred prehistoric creatures and allows you to tame and ride them? heck, you can build a mobile base on the back of a brontosaurus, what else do you want?

going a bit more in-depth you got thousands of hours of pure sandbox entertainment with customizable settings and support for mods, be it in single player, PVE or PVP (if you opt for the latter get ready for a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ though). did i mention how beautiful this game looks?

and regarding the 2 biggest gripes everyone has with the game right now:

- optimization and bugs: i can run the game smoothly on ultra with a gtx 1060, 8gb RAM and my dual-core processor so i'd say they've done a good job so far, and they're constantly working on improvements with updates on an almost daily basis.

- pricing policy: it's true that 60 bucks is a bit of an impression but like i said this game will provide you thousands of hours of entertainment and you can always wait for steam sales. besides, if you believe the whole DLC affair is a bit shady you can simply pass on it as the base game is well provided with 3 official maps. i'll tell you though that the new Aberration DLC looks VERY interesting.

tl;dr: SURVIVAL WITH DINOSAURS!!!

Que queréis que os diga pero yo me he aburrido muy rápido. Es bonito y tal pero es un mundo vacío y una vez que consigues el turboplaneador explorar se vuelve demasiado facil. Solo os diré que llegue al punto más alto del juego desde el suelo sin tocar ni una sola isla flotante. Además es muy corto, 3 horas he tardado en arreglar la nave (recogiendo un monton de cristales y completando unos cuantos desafios, ojo).

Si el primer Killing Floor ya de por si era un vicio infernal imaginate este que es 3 veces mejor.

Por si todo eso te parece poco también se ha añadido matchmaking y los niveles de optimización y de conexión durante las partidas son fenomenales.

Hora de pintar el suelo de rojo.
