It's a great game? Sure, yes, it is.
It's a great Doom game? Somewhat, depending on your taste.
It's a great follow up to Doom 2016? Yeah, not really.

If you like circlestrafing around each and every mob, losing most of your health and armor to three hits, managing 4 cooldowns, hilariously low ammo pool, regenerating zombies that exist solely to feed you ammo, then you'll probably would like Eternal. I don't, I'm outta here.
