Near the end of a Road to Riches run (sank 5hr or so just jumping systems and scanning planets), I got griefed. Lost about 30 million Credits. My grand total wealth at the time was 6 million, so this was going to be a significant upgrade for me.

Oh well, deal with it and move on. Just redo it again, right?
Nah, I don't think so.

Sure, the griefing sucked (a player hung around the station I respawned in, killing me a few more times as I try to leave it). However, right there and then I realized that the 5hrs I just did was sickeningly un-enjoyable. I needed a book next to me to read inbetween jumping between star systems and between planets. I needed a book to make the experience toleratable.

I once read a review of someone who picked up Minecraft after thoroughly enjoying Terraria. He said "I realized while playing that I wish I was playing Terraria", or "I kept thinking that Terraria's better".

I will mirror that sentiment by saying, the whole time I was playing, I wish I was playing No Man's Sky (after it got good, luckily I never saw the launch version ****show). And that's exactly what I'm going to go play now instead of Elite:Dangerous.

Turns out there's a game breaking bug at the 2nd dungeon (Drenchfort) whereby the blue ball is missing and you can't get in. That's it, end of story. Restarting and reloading doesn't fix the issue.

People have been complaining about it since FOREVER and the developers haven't even DEIGNED to respond.

Don't buy this game, and if this is reflective of how the developers take responsibility for their product, then I suggest don't buy any game from this developer at all.
