Addictive shooting game, but plenty of longstanding (albeit uncommon and intermittent) bugs that the developers either can't fix or can't be bothered fixing. Also the tendency is towards more and more need to spend real money to advance - they've had two events recently that required buying a weapon with real cash instead of in-game currency to participate, and even the events requiring in-game currency are asking for more and more of it for the top rewards. Just... do yourselves a favor and don't start playing, so you don't get hooked.

If you like fast-paced Shooters. If you like getting together with a small group to do a job or several. If you like shooting an enemy with a rocket launcher, throwing a knife through the throat of another, and smashing a third upside the head-equivalent with a big-ass hammer. You may like WarFrame.

Just be prepared to spend days upon days to grind materials and/or wait for trades, or pay lots of money. Or all of the above. Luckily, platinum, the premium currency of the game, can be earned without paying real money, by trading to others things you yourself have earned (or bought from others). The only things that actually take real-world money are purely cosmetic, specifically cosmetics made by fans - cosmetics made by the developers don't take real money.

I've been playing this game almost daily since Open Beta, back in March 2013. You can play as little or as much as you want, but if you don't play much, don't be surprised if your skill level and power lag compared to other players.
