8/10 "It's like the original, but better in every possible aspect"


-Satire: It's a satire of all the Hollywood tropes in action films and series

-Gameplay: It's a mix of shooting, fighting, throwing and platforming. The way they blended the shooting, throwing and fighting it's pretty cool, it's kinda like a "rock paper scissors" system but it has other posibillities that can destroy this same mechanic, it's really more deep and well thought than it seems at first look.

-Randomness: It's actually kinda strange how the randomness in every match makes the game feel like you're actually inside an Hollywood action film, every object is perfectly placed to make you have stupid accident or a retarded death, luckily, you can master this techniques to destroy your enemy, in fact, this randomness is an important element to understand when playing the game

-Customization: You've got male and female, but none of them has hair, you also got a lot of cliché action film costumes that you win by completing challenges or sometimes they just come with the updates.

-Community: At the time, small, but definitely not dead, the community is small but pretty active, they got clans, (which are just some letters you put before your name) this clans are basically the reason why the community seems so active, they have ranges, clan wars, it's kinda like a mafia, you can join clans on the game forums, but there's really not much else than that. Also, the developers are great and listen to their fanbase.

-DLC: Many coming, all free. This DLC's will have new official maps, clothes, missions, weapons, mechanics, etc.

-Multiplayer: Currently through servers and offline/online local multiplayer, you can upload scripts to the game, download maps, create playlists, add bots. There are three gamemodes:
VERSUS: Deathmatch. You can play with 8 players in Free For All or on Teams, or mixed, 'cuz why not?
SURVIVAL: Survive the enemy hordes. You can play with only 4 players


-Bugs: A few bugs appear in every update, but the developers try to eliminate them asap, so it shouldn't be so much problem.

-Price: It's kind of a high price for a game like this, but it's worth it, if you see it on steam sales, buy it.

-Servers: Sometimes they work fine, sometimes decently, sometimes horribly, fortunately they are trying to fix it in the next updates.

-Campaign: It's just kinda falls short compared to the better aspects of the game

Recommended if you like fighting games, platformers, and side-scrollers.

6/10 "fun, creative, unfinished, demential, outdated, slightly better than the original"

Crashday it's a pretty mediocre arcade race game with fun ideas, stupid crashes, a lot of action, a decent track editor, cool and fun game modes and standard ones as well, and originally published by Atari.

There's also a pretty competent Track Editor that don't fully reaches it's creative potential due to bugs.

The driving is pretty decent, it seems that the developers were trying to create an intentionally hard to steer system to make you crash more often, but it stops there, feels unfinished, but not exactly incomplete.

The physics are kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by the time it released, but they're cool enough to be satisfied when you crash cars or well... yourself in the game.

The multiplayer in the original version was absolute crap, i'm glad they fixed it since it's probably the reason most people would buy this game, but sadly, the playerbase is really low, i guess due to the price of this crap. It might take off on steam sales but let's face it, it's an old game that only few people played in it's release, so unless you have some pretty close friends that like to blow ♥♥♥♥ up the air with machine guns and rocket launchers while drivin' full speed.

Redline Edition is cooler than the original, because it actually works in the way it was supposed to work and the developers are actually fixing the bugs in the game, but the price at this time it's just too high for a game like this, in fact, i just bought it because i used to play the original Crashday on my childhood.

El juego es bueno ya saben de supervivencia, es gratis pero el problema esta en que esta muy mal optimizado el creador le ha metido cosas y cosas y cosas hasta que lo que te corria a 300 fps en ultra ahora te corre a 30 le doy positivo porque lo que les dije solo es una advertencia

it's the classic experience from 2015 but improved, i don't know why so many people say it's pay 2 win, it's not, they think the Credits in some way make this pay 2 win... WHAT THE HELL PEOPLE?, Thanks Freejam for this incredible new update, i know the Quests fail sometimes but i hope it's just a bug (hopefully this is the reason for all the "pay 2 win" reviews).
