This game is hillarious. This is what happens when Quake and Worms get a kid. It has everything an action game needs: hammers, shotguns, grenade launchers, railguns, grapling hooks, whole pack of mayhem and fun, and all of that in just a 9 megabytes. It's not "why you should download this and play", it's more like "why shouldn't you?". With size like that I see literally no reason to delete it. Definitely nicer game than Dota.

TL;DR - It isn't worth it. BL2 is larger, better and costs less. Either buy BL2, or wait for at least -50%

This review will be more comparison-style, so you're supposed to be familiar with series.
I don't remember Borderlands 1, just remember that I liked it, I love Borderlands 2 and I really, really want to love Pre-Sequel. But I don't. Here's why.
- Price. It costs twice as much as BL2, but it has way less content in base game than BL2 had. We got less plot, less side-quests, less locations. Season Pass doesn't look good too, instead of 4 plot DLC, expanding the story, world and bla bla bla... It includes 1 story, 2 characters and arena DLC. Shock Drop Slaughter Pit is another one-map arena, that lacks any interest. BL2 Pre-Order bonuses were - golden keys, 3 starting weapons, one relic and Mechromancer DLC. TPS Pre-Order includes a map. Thanks, I guess... It's a little more than nothing...
- Plot. Well, it's cool to go through it, just to learn what happened between BL1 and BL2. And that's it.
- Bosses. Most bosses are somewhat forced, you don't see their motivation, why are they against you. The only character that really made me feel something was Felicity AI, this was the most emotional character. The main antagonist, colonel Zarpedon was pretty badass. Everyone else were just boring, I just felt like I was putting them out of their misery.
- Raid Boss. I killed it in singleplayer on 28 LVL as Athena. So either Athena is OP, or boss is pretty meh... (not mentioning what is this raid boss and how lazy devs became)
- Customization. BL2 had nice, badass, cool, funny, even cute heads. I was choosing what I liked most, often changing head, because this one was cool too, and that is awesome, and this is funny. Here, in TPS I was choosing what I disliked least. Often it was just default head. Heads are pretty hard to acquire. I mean you need to grind, farm bosses, because heads drop rarely and if they drop, it's 85% not for your character. BL2 had more heads as rewards, ensuring class match.
- Vehicle controls. Okay, that's pretty old topic about Borderlands. But this is a third game, and not only they didn't make usual vehicle controls, but they added some strange modifications of their unique controls, such as "reverse steering". That means whenever you press W your car will move in your facing direction even if it's backwards. Who needs this? And why in the world does it exist? Why don't we get optional controls where W is throttle, S breaks, A-D is turning, allowing us to watch and shoot sideways? That's what all games have - HL2, UT2004-UT3, BF2-Hardline... It's the third game in franchise. Third. It's about time.

Okay, time for bright side. Not everything is bad. This still is an expansion to history. We still got cool classes, main characters, soundtrack, atmosphere, Grinder(tm), lasers, Butt Slams(tm), mayhem, CL4P-TP Units, Unreal Tournament's Manta (basically). Many things make this game fun, and main thing is a coop. So this is a nice way to spend time with friends. But $60? That's too much, I think.

Press X nine thousands times to win. Try not to die. Or don't try. You will die either way.
Pros:
+ The game is a dish, served dark, spiced with blood. On dessert you'll get a story. Flavoured with blood. And as drink you'll get more blood.
+ Main character is a little cute girl in black dress. With claws instead of hands. And with blood on the claws.
+ An unusual one-button battle system, which can remind you of DMC. You can stab an enemy, kick him up, then stab him couple of times mid-air and then kick him at spikes on the wall, drawing more blood with each hit. Remember I told you about one-button battle system?
Cons:
- Too short. I mean, come on, prologue and six levels? I want more *_*
- Too many achievements and unlockable arts. Which unlock by completing achevements. ಠ_ಠ
- You should have a gamepad. I can't imagine beating the game using keyboard.
- Ok, some people say the controls are bad. I dunno, I didn't find them difficult. They can be confusing when you just start playing, but by the third chapter, i guess, you'll almost master them.
In the end:
I loved the game. It's cruel, violent, pixelated, challenging action, which almost remind you of hardcore gaming on NES or Sega Genesis. I recommend it, because I think the developer earned every bit of its price.

While being challenging and hard, this is extremely boring and slowpaced platformer, too much tied on timing and jumping. I tried to play and enjoy it, really. I tried it twice. I dropped it twice. Although multi-layered gameplay looks interesting and somewhat fresh.

I absolutely recommend the game, this is amazing work for a game on RPGMaker engine. What makes it special from number of other RPGM games? Well, bunch of nice things.
+ Skyborn presents you a rather deep world, with background story, interracial conflict.
+ Unlike most of RPGM games, Skyborn is set in steampunk setting.
+ Game is nicely balanced between storytelling and fighting. That means you do need to fight, but it's not too frequent.
+ Game has implemented mouse controls. Mouse is fully operational and working for UI and movement control. No other RPGM games can offer you this.
+ Crafting and upgrading mechanics without grind.
+ Game encourages explorers with free extra EXP and useful items.
+ Class speciality upgrades, which allow you put more strategy in fights. However there is an Ultimate Class for each character.
Now what can keep you from buying it:
- This is a j-rpg game. That means turn-based battles, mostly repetitive fights. Some of enemies will be very hard to defeat, until you discover their weaknesses. Sometimes it's oddly balanced, for example I couldn't kill one optional boss in the end, but easily defeated final boss.
- Game comes without Steamworks support. That means no Cloud sync and no Achievements (which could be good)
- Plot doesn't have open choices and has only one ending. It's good for a story, but nowadays most games feature multiple endings.

Still so good.

Korai hozzáférési értékelés
Have you played Audiosurf? It was really nice game. You grab some mp3 of yours and ride them. Caching one blocks, avoiding others, feeling the beat, seeing the music. It's such a pleasure to do something more than just listen to favourite songs. And in that game you were not alone, thanks to scoreboards. But that was then.
And then music became more than just waving road.
Audiosurf 2 presents you a new vision of music. More of that, it presents you creative infinity. With deep integration with Steam Workshop Audiosurf 2 becomes a game, that looks like, feels like, rides like you want it. With new game modes and skins, both original and downloaded, you will play favourite songs like never before.
And another good news for those, who loved Mono mode and couldn't win those guys with erasors and pushers - now every mode has its own separated scoreboard, and you can challenge others with the same rules.
Even though the game is in Early Access (i.e. Beta) it's already playable and awesome. And if you are familiar with programming, modelling or graphics, you can help developing the game and workshop content.
So... long story short. It's awesome. Get it. Now.
