Fun game with friends for free, but why the actual ♥♥♥♥ is the End Heist button interactable by physics and not clicking interaction only? Just made me waste a bunch a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bags of wine cuz this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass developer thought it would be an excellent idea to make the thing that ends the mission, accidentally touchable.

So, I'd say most who play this game are doing so for one of two reasons. Either your actually attempting to live out a really dark, and almost comical reality.. or your doing so because this game embodies a feeling we all have, hatred. Feels like a secret spot to let loose in a non-life ending way, like hitting the bag yk. I'd like to say for most people who don't need this kind of influence, like younger people, but if you can establish your morals before going in, finding this absurd evil as insane and comical rather than so literal.
However, the reason I wrote this review is because of the two biggest mods for this game..
Hatred 1.333 and 1.666
These mods were made by part of the development team and other volunteers, including the original voice actor for the antagonist in new missions. I recommend playing the base game, then honestly just 1.666.
It was made to be a complete expansion and offers the clearest picture of what they want this game to be.
It's rathered censored in it's basic form, which seems hard to believe but is true. The story built in the modded 1.666v of Hatred was absolutely crazy. With a crazy rug pull, and hella postal references, that really makes you fully grasp what you just spent the last few hours doing, and the real pain caused from these events, unlike the base game ending which is just Unrealistic Evil Villian ♥♥♥♥ of blowing up newyork.
Recommend for price, please take me off of the watchlists now

yes the game is grindy, but it literally has to be for what it is. If i had done everything in these 10 hours, thatd be lame. pop in when you have time to kill, play some music, and this a very enjoyable game for stoners who enjoy that kind of vibe. Plenty of cool stuff to unlock, find, and use to make your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ dildo weed shop into the go-to shop for everyone in the area. Hella ♥♥♥♥ to roll, grow, expand, and bongs to get. Weapons, Decorations, and Other cool Utility options for defense and popularity are available.
You will need to have a decent pc. But it's very worth it at $20

after another 30 hours of playing, understand this game has an incremental autosave like 10-15mins apart. And this game is prone to crashing once you start using certain types of "decor" in your shop. Won't specify to leave it a surprise but the crashing ♥♥♥♥ every 2 hours or so is getting old.

I recommend that you disregard anyone's review comparing this game to the original.
Yes, the "atmosphere" is different, as should be. It couldn't have been replicated, however...
In almost every other aspect, this game is a complete 100% improvement of what Dying Light was.
Weapons, Enemies, Mechanics, Tools, Missions, Exploration, etc.
There's so much going on around every corner and cranny in this game, it's kinda unbelievable.
The story and the characters are very fleshed out with all kinds of main story, side story, and collectable story telling.
This has managed to be one the few games that made me invested, care about my decisions, and overall enjoy the unique experience for each person who plays this game for the first time (With plenty to offer post-game) Especially after this game was on-sale, i'd go as far to say that if you love zombie/parkour games,
this is a must have in the steam library.
+1000 Pts If you are able to get homies to jump in with you.

EDIT: Upon looking at some more negative reviews of this game, if you have the attention span of a toddler and need to have a subways surfer gameplay montage beneath all of your content, then I'm sure you will find the story rather boring for your dopamine hungry brain. But to the individuals capable of paying attention to events, and the problems occurring in the game, you more than likely won't find this chaotic world and the majority of it's characters "boring".
Lastly, this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard. And it's not mentioned anywhere besides the reviews.

I am no ♥♥♥♥♥ ass gamer, I have earned my gamer gunk. And this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tough on hard and up difficulties, hard enough to really really test your patience like a dark souls game. Keep that in mind as well.

I've only just got my toes wet with this game, and I've barely accomplished much or learned much.
It does seem like the game might have a bug, once in a blue moon that adds something funny. Can't stress how necessary you have to play this with friends. But this game is just another example of pretty enjoyable coop game that didnt come from some triple a studio at a full price

EDIT: I've played a good bit more with my friends, and was very excited to see that the developer put up a roadmap on his youtube channel. This game is only a portion of what he fully intends for in this game, and bro absolutely cooked.

Since COD Fell Apart, this is NOT a bad replacement if you have that COD Itch from time to time. For Barely 2 Gb of Space, Free Price Tag, and Plenty of in Game Cosmetics and Modes to Keep you Playing.. it's practically a must have in the steam library.

alright, im just as blown away as everyone else and their reviews. I played for about an hour, had three races.
This might actually be one of coolest racing games ive ever played, i grew up with need for speed like many out there.
This game is unbelievably refreshing from copy and pasted, graphic intense, racing games. While this game does require a controller to play (isnt a huge drawback), it has such a unique aesthetic that it makes the game just feel like an old retro tape you're racing in. So many small details that add a lot like car maintenance, car upgrades and auctions, the music increasing in volume the faster you drive, flicking your headlights before a race, gangs owning racing territories, tolls you have to be careful of speeding through, all these things make it feel so knee deep in that early 2000's japan night racing scene. Wonderful game to break up all that monotonous gaming offered by triple a developers.
