Spicy game for Spicy people.

In my opinion this is one of the best Grand Strategy and historical simulation games ever created. Theres so much to learn and so much to do. So many times to play and so many countries to choose. The replay value of this game is timeless and you do have to think about your actions theres a lot to take into account. I would not reccomend this game if you lack experience in these sort of games because it is not easy to grasp alone, and if you have a group of like-minded friends it's a great game to play on a private save.

Those that complain about the DLC are not for the same reasons as games like Sims, you buy the collection version and it has everything you need within it, the majority of the rest are unit packs and sure theres maybe 4 or 5 that would increase the playability and fun of the game but the point is they are not needed to have fun! I strongly advise you buy this game and Paradox really did well on this.

Now as far as puzzle games go this is a very good game, it will never match the portal series and trying to compare any other game to it will fail. If a game however, was to even come close? it would be this. It has no humour and the portal humour is one of a kind, the story is short but sweet and the mechanics really do make you think. The story explores the ideas of consciousness, morality, and not surprisingly the Turing Tests. It's intelligent, bonus puzzles reveal bonus transcripts or video logs that add to the story, the game is very well made and I had to think about it and the answers a lot more than I have other games.

To keep it short, if you like puzzle games or even story games, you'll love this. If you're looking for humour and a casual game it's not for you, but i highly reccomend this game and so do many others.

However, I could not have been more wrong, this game is the pinnacle of puzzle games, in fact it's with the greats of story games too. This isn't a game that's meant to blindly test your creativity or intelligence without meaning or fun, it's a game made to make you think and laugh, with a story that grinds the cogs in your mind.

If i was to input into this game and the devlopment, theres nothing i would of changed, the game itself is well, perfect. As gamers you can all agree no game deserves the title of perfect and sure for some this won't be, but if any game deserves it, it's this. It has substance, the story is meaningful and something to follow. It has humour, and not many games do anymore, and portal humour will always be the benchmark for any game of this type.

Portal 1 is a great game and will forever be the opening to a great series of possible books, movies and further games but it's very short. Portal 2, is just as lovely all you have to do is clean them, but theres more of them. For me? Portal 2 is my favourite and will always be one of my favourite games. I have had this game for 2 years now, when i first got it I played it for maybe 5 hours in the first year, i hated it. The lack of aiming down sights, recoil mechanics and 1 shot kills put me off the game completely. Being an avid fps player i came from the greats like Modern warfare and Battlefield bad company 2. I came back to this game and you know what? It soon became one of my greats too, the game isn't meant to be easy, you can't click download and play like any other fps game. You have to learn and adapt, it is in my eyes the most competitive fps game there is. The team work, spray patterns of certain guns, location names and smokes. This is what makes the game great, when you get into the game you forget about all of the bad points that differentiate it from the other fps games and learn to love it. This is the game that taught me the basics of Russian, C-y-k-a and B-l-y-a-t. You may not like it at first but you will slowly fall in love with it, give it time. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither are one taps.
