It's rare for me to finish a game let alone 100% it these years, but if a game makes me want to 100% it, then daaaamn.

If you're a fan of old school shooters like Doom, Duke Nukem, You'll definitely like this. Even the environment and textures remind me of a old school game.

The music is damn good and every single piece fits the ambience mood and settings.

You can rush the level or you can look around for the 3-5 secrets and posters that might be on the level, you can beat it in your pace.

There's even a Power-Slide/Jump mechanic that's like a weird version of bunny hopping which some players might discover it on their own, which makes the movement and exploration much faster.

Now for the actual Story and artstyle/humor.

The artstyle itself reminds me a little bit of Psychonauts, its cartoony, and i really really love that. In fact, i'm going to miss seeing that in previous Postal games or future games since its so drastically different. I feel that this is the best Artstyle for this series, a comic book cartoony style.

The story? hahaha. Well you get snippets here and there, its really a dreamworld and how dreams are random. A battle against things dude hates, fears, and in the end, a personal conflict battle against his own negative self image, (was it negative to begin with?).

The Humor? hahaha, funni, pooopy joookes, peee peee. pEeeeeNiiiisssss. If you love that then this game is for you, its almost 90's humor.

i'm going to miss this installment. I wish the future Postal games would be done in this style and by this studio, even if it isn't in a doom action mechanic, the very least in this old school texture/graphics and artstyle.

If you've never played a Postal game, i highly recommend picking this one up first if the other Postal games don't look like a game for you. This is such a great shooter. I will miss it.

What i want the team to do to improve the game?

Include a Audio Enemy lines under the Enemy Codex, so we can hear all the Enemy lines. There are alot of funny hurt sounds, quotes and death quotes from the enemy's that we can't hear unless we revisit them in-game, and with all the action going on you might miss it.

I also want to piss on things and shoot at the same time, i don't think you realize how funny and important this is. The Alpha Trailer showed you CAN do this.

Also add some of the Alpha Skins like that Clown Rocket launcher as an unlockable or for a small price DLC of a dollar. If you add more weapon skins/models as replacements for the existing weapons as just cosmetics, you can pretty much make a in-game unlock system or be greedy and charge it as DLC.

Add a gallery of the cut content, enemies, even posters. Alot didn't make it to the final game. The Alpha trailer was a treat.

Do a f-cking sequel and continue the series you beautiful magnificent sons of b-tches.

Totally not giving you my money to buy this OST so you use it as funds to potentially Restart the cancelled Otherworld Project in secret, nope.

Edit: now for the actual real review now that i've listened to it.

Prelude really speaks to me, but i must say, the rest of the tracks in no way shape or form represent the spirit of the original Terraria in my horrible opinion. If a friend was to show up and tell me that this was Terraria-Otherworld music without me knowing it was official, i'd most likely call him out on bullcrap.

It's not bad, its actually good, but it has more Starbound vibes then being a successor of Terraria franchise in spirit. I personally feel its a miss. I know Otherworld was going to be similar to Terraria but be its own thing with its own mechanics, but the music does not tie well together in my opinion. It feels like it doesn't belong.

I'm still going to give it a positive review however, because its part of Re-logic's development history, and its still good music regardless. I want to support Re-logic and i applaud them for releasing this music DLC.

I still hope Re-logic will pick up the cancelled project, or salvage what they can and create something that can be called "Terraria 2" on a superior engine with superior mechanics, still pixel, but with amazing modern shaders in play.

Buy the Otherworld Soundtrack if you wish to support Re-logic.

Some may say that VR is a waste of time, that gaming on VR is at a poor infancy level, that may or may not be true to whoever is asked however, This product BigScreenBeta has already changed my life. I have never experienced using my computer in this way before, I'm floating in space with a big screen just floating slightly above me while i sit back on my computer chair and watch the latest episode of my favorite show as well as checking up on my Steam messages or favorite websites. I haven't relaxed like this in a looooooong time, BigScreenBeta has really opened new doors for me on how i enjoy my basic everyday use of the computer. Truely this is the best escape from reality i had in a long time, using the computer as usual but extremely enhanced, truely a unique marvel to those few who have a VR-set. The best kicker is , this Product is absolutely free, and if it EVER goes for a future price, I'll buy it. I already know I'm going to clock in hours upon hours on this genuine good product.

This wonderful masterpiece. where do i begin. i rarely write reviews but boy does this one deserve it. I'm not as good as other reviewers that perfectly setup their reviews pro's and con's, but let's begin.

Owlboy is a hybrid platformer with flight that follows a story that slowly starts unfolding at first but quickly advances.
It is full of emotions right off the start and you get spoon-fed with visual emotions such as the beauty of the music and scenery. You get the feel of wonder, adventure, and danger depending in the scenery or dungeon you're in, the music just sets the mood just right. I praise this game for it's visual, music, characters and personalities, the controls are responsive.

The story is beautiful in my opinion, i know there are others who would disagree. But it's a beautiful tale of character development that you have no idea who the protagonist is besides what you see in the beginning, where are his parents, and who are his ancestors, and what your character is capable of. You are in control of his destiny as you continue the story to save the world. If by option you explore every nook and cranny you'll find secrets that give clues to your ancestry or story about people you know, with the music on top of it it just makes it so emotional and it complete's the story, as well as items to help you feel complete and powerful. You even have the option to load up the game after you beat it to explore the previous places you visited to finish loose ends which in return gives even more story, in my case i just wanted to find out why i couldn't open a certain chest which is only possible after you beat the game and well... it was full of feels.

Everything about this game, from its sprites to the music, you can tell love was put into it.

The main protagonist and his companion's are incredibly memorable with beautiful personalities, rich of character.
Everywhere you explore is beautiful, so much detail was put into this game.

I give this game a solid 10 out of 10.
In my opinion the best beautiful sprited game of this recent modern era.

unfortuntely i don't think there will be a sequel, and i just hope that if the developers of owlboy decide to make a game just as great as owlboy that it gets the same love and devotion but made in less time. They have the money and resources now to develope a game just as great in less time thanks to Owlboy. And if the staff splits and goes to a different company, that they continue to give all their heart and love into whatever new game they're working on just as they did with owlboy.
