2020 Review:
Dang. I truly never write game reviews, but for this game I will. i bought Sea Of Thieves at the start of summer when I first made my PC. It was the second game on here. My first time playing with my friends, i had such an amazing time. It felt like I was really in the game and that lead me to play it a ton more, do Tall Tales, small Quests, take on the Skeleton Fort's, kill Graymarrow and a bunch more. This game has made my summer very very fun and it took the boring hours away that I had each day. I truly love this game and I love seeing the new features and events monthly. This is the best game I have played in a very long time. 10/10 recommend.

This game, although it has driven me crazy on multiple occasions, still remains one of my favorite games; if not my favorite game of all time. Since the start of season 3, I really did not clock heavy hours until the end of Season 6 and just recently, Season 8. Although it says on here almost 600 hour, on Xbox I well have over 1000+.... I know I need to feel grass...

Anyway, this game is brilliant, strategic and most importantly, laid back when you want it to be. Yes, I have dealt with hackers, awful hit registration, accidental sinkings of my vessel, rageful discord calls at 2 AM after stacking FOTD 10x and losing it, because my partner would not leave, and even had people ruin my tall tale and fishing adventures. Yes, that sucks... but this game has brought me memories from earlier years and recent years, new adventures on both water and online with different events in/outside the game, late night conversations with friends, learning how to manage multiple things at once, how to forgive my teammates and even just enjoy being in the moment. Graphic-wise, this game is crisp and well-textured. Everything is breathtaking when you first walk out of the tavern and see the horizon. Customization, although it feels like it is getting less and less the more I play, is pretty much endless for newer players and seasoned ones. Different adventures and tall tales allow this game to be open and playable to all ages.

I don't know where I wanted to go with this, but all the on-and-off problems the game has had with release dates, lame recent events, and regurgitated content just made me want to express my true feelings toward this game; indebted. Indebted to the endless memories of exploring the Sea of Thieves for many years and more to come. 9.99/10
