I love games that have some levels of jank as a feature, but The Long Drive is just too broken to be fun.

First two games I spent considerable time doing up my vehicle before leaving; first time a rabbit came straight through the door, headbutted the car and got it stuck halfway through the garage wall. Second time, my fuel siphon, spare parts and fuel all fell through the boot of the car (interior physics "disabled" btw)

Third run I decided ♥♥♥♥ it, no more screwing around, about 5 mins down the road hit a rock as it suddenly rendered a few meters in front of my car. The vehicle handling and crashing physics are just too janky, which is an issue when this is essentially what the entire game is.

What other lil flash games are getting sequels or spiritual successors all these years later? New swords and sandals, the last stand, now a successor to Ray? I've really enjoyed this game so far, fun little Aussie references and the animation style is so well done. You're a mad lad Phil

It's cheap and it's good. Great content, great value. If you like the basegame it's a no-brainer, get it

Fun game, heavily recommend. The jank is a part of the fun, perfect balance of jank and actual playable game. Also, one man dev team?? Third person fighting game devs take note, the cursor mechanics that control the height and direction of your attacks is innovative, feels like what Kingdom Come Deliverance was going for but actually doesn't kinda suck. The game itself could definitely do with some more polish and tweaking, but credit where credit is due, one guy has made a game that has completely changed my perspective on what a 3rd person fighting game could / should feel like.

Price wise I'm not sure the $30 value is there quite yet but I did buy the game on sale and am hoping to see more content and updates down the road. Again though, quite an accomplishment for a solo developer. Swords and Sandals 3D type vibe.
