Uhhh, I've finished up Stalker Clear Sky like a couple of days ago but I was too lazy to write anything at all soooo it might be a little off but I'll try anyway lol. Once again I played on the Master difficulty which surprise surprise is actually hard because it spiks up the RNG on how much the enemies can hit you! Yeah...

S:CS which I'll be using the short for this game, finally added some REALLY needed things that S:SoC needed here's a couple:
Fast travel. Yes. It's fu##ing true. They added fast travel, you finally don't have to run 100 km to get somewhere, it works through npc's which are Guide's. Though you need to have a good/neutral reputation to access their services and pay high amounts of money depending on the location you want to go (which sucks if you're poor.. I was poor :( asf). Great addiction to the game!

Carry weight. Finally you don't have to modify your whole game files to add more weight to your character. The way they did it is pretty cool too, you have various options. You can find artifact's that give you more weight (btw they changed all of the artifact's stats in this game). Upgrade your current armour, yeah you can do that I'll talk about it in a second. And apparently Exoskeleton has an upgrade which ables you to run, though I didn't aquire one I hope its true 100%.

Upgrading. There's a new npc at every important location (mainly bases) which you can talk to, he has, like a rack icon on the map? Either way you can upgrade your weapons and armours, weapons feature adding more magazines, accuracy, flight path speed and... durability yeah so about this last stat. Like in S:SoC you have it but... I didn't notice at first, my friend did, if you fire like four times the accuracy of the weapon goes down so upgrade your weapon as soon as you can. About armours, there's some things too, you have upgrades like adding more weight, night vision, resistance against anomalies or bullets etc.
But. Before you upgrade anything think twice, you can only choose one path for certain upgrades, not like u can have everything, be smart if u wanna do it.

Climate, unlike in S:SoC, the climate is actually here, there's a lot more in the areas, especially the new oneSwamp, which you start in. It just feels proper, like it should have been in the first game. Also the nights, they're dark ASF, you barely can see anything without night vision or a flashlight. Though even if the nights are a cool thing, you can't skip them at all, no sleeping in bed even though you wake up in one at the start...

There's also fraction wars but I'll talk about it later, you'll see why.

While adding some new stuff to the game, they apparently deleted some of it too:
Contacts are no more longer a thing, I know that it is a sequel to the first game, and maybe it just didn't exist lore-wise. I liked that feature, knowing what npcs were around me, enemies or friendlies. Don't get me wrong though it's good for the game but eh

^Actually the whole PDA has been overhauled, you don't have seperate "bookmarks" for everything, instead they have been merged or deleted entirely. Guides which told you about anomalies, fractions, enemies also don't exist. I wanna say the same thing I said about contacts "didn't exist lore-wise" becuase, || the whole Zone was still changing and everything, they didn't know that much stuff ||, but you know. There's also no bookmark for quests, which is very weird, like you merge it with the map idk, it was just a lil confusing for me.

Now for the bad things, holy sh#t I am going to sh#t about this game, I have like 11 things wrote down that sucked:
Bleeding. I don't know who's idea was it to make us bleed every second you get hit. Like bro, I know it brings "realism" to the game because you would bleed instantly if a bullet hit you. But come one, you have a RNG based combat (depending on the difficulty) with the enemies. And it's not like one bandage will do. No no, you have to use at least three bandages to make it stop bleeding. You could wait it out (my friend tested it), but it can't be a fatal wound it has to be a scratch, otherwise it you will die.

Broken system of the Fraction Wars. In my opinion if you add a huge feature that could change the map entirely, you should make it working. In my playthrough I joined the Stalkers/Loners faction which occupies Cordon/Roadside (hi if u played Stalcraft :D) our main objective was to take over The Dump which was occupied by Bandits. Now if you kill all of the bandits outposts, yes there are small outposts with named location that you're fraction can take over. And head for the main base, they just respawn. The second you go out of the base they're magically back. You still can get the reward for "taking over the base". But come on.
Oh yeah I should add here too, if you accidentally shoot your friendly, you're really fu##ed if you don't have a quick-save.

Granades. It's more likely that you already heard from the memes. But npcs here can snipe you with those from litreally 50 meters or more. They can also spam them. There's also a glitch with the granades and loading saves. Sometimes you just can't use them and you have to throw them out and pick them up.

NPC's having litereal Gojo's infinity from Jujutsu Kaisen [jujutsu-kaisen.fandom.com] (great anime and manga). Who's idea was it to make so you can't come up to an npc closer than 1 meter. You literally can get pushed if you're behind an barricade to the open field and get shot. At least make it smaller or make them clip through you.

Glitching you and npcs into other objects. While for you it's very are to get glitches into certain things, you still can do it, not even on purpose. About npcs... yeah... they're really, really weird. While I didn't encounter them clipping to things, my friend did. Whatever it would be, holes, wells, walls even themselfs. They're going to do it, not like blocks you from the quests or anything, at most it's funny.

While we're on the npcs glitching let me talk about going to the next location (Cordon) honestly you can skip reading this or just not cuz it's a spoiler, do what u want to do idc. When you're getting out of Swamps (the starting location) there is a obstacle you have to get through: The Holy RP-74 Military Sentry. What the actual fu#k? Who made the sentry range be unlimited??? You move one mili-meter from your barricade for one mili-second and boom, it starts shooting a full series of bullets to you which pass through trees (good feature, no sarcasm intended), and you die. I had to quick-save and quick-load to go out of that location. Because yes apparently if you quick-save the npcs reset and know you are close! But at the same time they stop shooting. So yes I forced my way out of it. I might be stupid idk.

And for the last, the ending. It... sucked, again. It just leaves you empty. Wow you did it, but that's it, it's not confusing like in the first game. You either do it or not. Two endings not 7. Though it's just my opinion and how I felt about it.

Btw. I had to delete a part of the review cuz I reached max limit of characters 8,000??? It was mainly about making infinite money but you can get still get the idea from reading the review. Probably.

Total Crashes
Total Glitches

Conclusion: uhhh download mods fixing the glitches, just do it, it's required believe me. There are much, much more of glitches. They can even get you stuck making you play from the beginning.

Alright I've finished up the game (I played on Master mode which funny thing it's the default difficuilty because it gets easier if you pick anything else) and I can surely say, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is ♥♥♥♥ and kind of good. I'll say some stuff that I didn't like and that would be it:

The weight capacity is 50 kg, which is NOT a lot, I averaged 30 kg in my playthrough, you may ask yourself if you can get more of it by buying a backpack or having artifacts but; no. The only way of gaining more weight capacity (gameplay wise) is by buying the Exoskeleton which adds only 20 kg and PREVENTS you from running which is VERY BAD because you have to travel litreal kilometers to get somewhere. In my case I went over to modify the game files by adding 30 more weight so 80 kg total. You can do that or download mods.

There is no fast travel in the game, the map is pretty big and there are times that you want to come back to previous locations so you have to buy energetics in order to quickly regain your stamina and run through the entire map to just get to the quest.

Some people say that the "climate" is very cool and everything but all I could see in this game is plain terrain with some small hills, some random trees and a couple of buildings, honestly I would install some mods that overhaul the graphic and place but I just decided to play normally like my friend would. In conclusion, it's not that the climate they feel but rather nostalgia.

And bugs, holy moly bugs glitches, crashes with saves, I know it's a old game and it is what it is but I had to say at least one word about it.

Lastly the endings; I can't lie, the endings ruined the game for me. Idk how EDGY can you be to make endings like that but ♥♥♥♥ was bad in my opinion. I only did one ending out of 7 which is wealth which the requirement is crazy. I've watched others on YouTube and decided it's not worth playing more than one playthrough to experience the gunplay and everything else lol.

Conclusion: play on mods or whatever it's your choice idc just writing to remember
