Euro Truck Simulator 2 is by far one of the best simulator games I have ever played. Stunning visuals, immersive mechanics and realism. It's what defines this game, you feel as if you're driving an actual truck.

You can venture across many different countries, from the United Kingdom to the home of the baguette, France, then you can make a journey over the border to Germany. There are a select few DLC's that unlock other areas of the map, such as Eastern Europe (Slovakia, Hungary, Poland etc) and Scandinavia.

There are loads of different types of trucks to choose from as well: Scania, Volvo, MAN and DAF, just to name a few.

A great feature that I'm sure many people like is the modding capabilities, you can download mods from 3rd-party websites that unlock trucks, wheels, trailers and many more add-on's and items. However, I advise you to be aware of the websites that you're downloading them from, and ensure that they're not viruses before you install them onto your computer.


There isn't a multiplayer option in the game, however you can download TruckersMP which is a multiplayer add-on. It's great and makes the game more fun and interesting as you're interacting and driving along with real players, rather than AI's.


Conclusion: A must-buy game for anyone who is into simulator games, arguably one of the best sims out there and blows other ones out of the water. Graphics are great and it's realistic. The game also doesn't cost much for what it is, around £14.99, you can get it lower on sale though so you may want to wait for that.
