A classic to me. Although the graphics may not be the best and the gameplay isn't the best either, it gives so much relaxing fun.

Sometimes games don't need the best graphics to be amazing, just look at Minecraft. This game has its own style of graphics and I completely love it. Just looking at the people can be so hilarious. When do you see a guy with a snake around his neck entering the casino? In this game. Yet, the game has a quite smart engine. When you build a casino - you can build an entire lot, but the interior of casino is the only thing you can design - you can set the winning odds, minimum bids etc on all the tables or slots. If you set, for example, the starting bids to the highest you will only see men in dress at that table. And you will of course win big money.

Themes
Furhermore is this game from 2006 - you should not forget that while playing - just a relaxing game. You can buy multiple lots, choose a theme for every single one of them and just do anything you want. However, it's a nice challenge to keep noise and smell as far away as possible. Don't put the toilets in the middle of your lot, people will complain about the smell, but just hide it on the side. This goes for the interior of the casino as well, keep the maintenance buildings away from all the action. A nice feature is to plant extra walls, or raise/lower certain areas. It will stop the smell or sound.

An theme I always pick and do the same off is the Ocean theme. You can't pick the Ocean theme without making your lot full of water first. All the three casinos you can build (small, medium, big) are completely different if you pick another theme. The outside of the ocean casino looks like the Titanic, and the inside adapts to that. Some casinos have multiple entrances, some have a lot of corners.

I just like it
I have spent 12 hours with this game on Steam. Yet, I've played it way more - back in the days when I didn't had Steam. I did not spent 5 euros for this, I bought it when it was on sale (no idea how much I paid for it though). But it is worth it. You can just play it for a little bit, have a laugh and come to rest.
I wish it would have unlimited lots you can buy, because there will be a time you are done. But that time has not come for me yet. I just like the game. I always spent way to much time on making the map nice and stylish, so it takes hours for me to complete a lot. Even a small one.
And that is what I like about this game: you can just mess around as much as you want, or you can make the most ridiculous casino ever.

Like that time I raised a big area in a casino to just build one gambling slot on it, surrounded by trash cans. Or that moment when I created a 'waiting room' for the toilets containing a Texas Hold 'Em table. People actually go play there, and then complain there is smell. Lovely.
Before you think I'm a sadist, I also tried to create just beautiful places. I don't have a lot of screens on Steam to prove that though...

This is a such a funny game. In less than an hour I finished the main plot, but oh dear this made me smile all the time. It's a really nice satire to all those DLCs.

At the start you can't even go to the left, you don't have animations, no sound and you can't pause the game. But later you can do everything. From getting a hat to shooting everybody to death.

The humor in the game is just brilliant. I love it. There a signs everywhere that tell you what to do. So for example there is a dead end in a cave, so there is a sign: "Dead end." Just next to it: "No seriously, go back."

The people to talk to in the game, or even a horse, are also quite hilarious. One person sais: "I don't have anything relevant to say at this time. I'll play an important role soon, but you don't know that yet."

The cutscene at the beginning of the game is so bad it's really hilarious. The story of it. Haha. No words.

There is a lot more humor in this game. But you have to figure that out yourself.

Also, don't murder the sheep for no good reason.

Indescribably much fun. Although the game is not really big, I completed it in 5 to 6 hours, it's definitely worth the time. Matter of fact, in those 5 hours I laughed for about ten hours, cried in tears for two whole years and I only ragequitted for about a million times.
This game is so dumb, my IQ is probably halved right now. The storyline doesn't make any sense whatever, and the characters are really hilarious. So are the chats they have during the game.
One downside to the game is the fact that I completed it. It just should go endlessly.

When I bought this game the only thing I knew about it was it was about an octopus and it was dumb. For the rest I had no idea what to expect, but this experience really blew my mind.
