I know Everybody's Gone to the Rapture isn't a "game" in the sense that most are, as it's just a walking sim with a story, but it's still one of my favourite games of all time. So when I found out that Chinese Room had developed another game based in 20th Century UK, I had to check it out. There's much more action in and suspense in this, but it hasn't missed the mark at all. Excellent writing, voice acting and music yet again.

One criticism is that I'd say the graphics aren't well optimised and you may struggle with max settings on some GPUs.. but that's the only fault I have with this.

I had the opportunity to play this game during a charity stream. I didn't know what to expect, but wow.. I was in love. The music & sound development is top tier and the opportunity to float about in zero gravity, amazing. Oh the best bit: You get to initiate a rocket launch sequence!

This is definitely my game of 2024. Yes, it's short, but there's replayability through different completion paths. The story, style, voice acting and humour are spot on. I haven't laughed this much at a game in a long time.
