Really great. I bought a wheel for this game. The menus are awful and the AI is weird but that's the extent of my complaints

Instead of buying a soda at lunch tomorrow, bring water from home and buy this game instead. Enjoy a retro 3D platformer for an hour or so, support a small dev, and finally use the remaining 2 dollars to buy another Siactro game.

Viewfinder is a technically and visually compelling first-person puzzle game that I'd recommend to anyone yearning for something different. I played the demo a while back and was genuinely surprised at how smoothly the mechanics worked. Playing through the full game did not disappoint. Other games have one art style that they may or may not do well - Viewfinder has a plethora of different visual styles (called lenses in game) that are all unique and interesting.

This game is very, very short. Every mechanic is fascinating to play with, but I feel like they each don't get enough room to shine. The story and world-building are interesting, but right as things were picking up, the game was over. If these two issues were solved in a sequel or expansion, Viewfinder could earn its spot as one of the best first-person puzzle games on the market, right up there with Talos and Antichamber.

As a huge fan of Talos Principle 1, this sequel was the worthy follow up I was always hoping for. It's a wonder this game is only priced at $30. TP2 has tons of puzzles, doubles down on the esoteric philosophical themes, and establishes an adventurous yet mysterious tone. The game's narrative paces itself well, and never feels like a hindrance to it's puzzle solving core.

The graphics are wonderful, and the environments of the different "worlds" you explore are impressive. However, one of my only gripes with the game comes from the size of these environments. They are very large, and if you're a completionist like myself (and if you want the secret cutscenes at the end) you have to spend a ton of time just... running around. Puzzle mechanics are interesting and varied, making for some very fun and unique solutions. I do wish they were a bit more difficult. I was only truly stumped by a couple of the Gold Door puzzles, but YMMV depending on your familiarity with puzzle games.

If you are a fan of puzzle games, I recommend giving this one a try.

I am not a typical turn-based RPG player but this game has taken over my life like a mindflayer tadpole anyway. There is an ENORMOUS amount of content here. I spent nearly 2 hours in character creation and I am only just now wrapping up Act One, 25 hours in.

You can get extremely creative with this game. I was struggling to win this battle with tons of goblins and noticed there were rafters above me. I positioned my party on top of the rafters, then aggro'd the goblins. One by one they climbed up to me. On my barbarian's turn, I would move to them, push them off, then retreat, all while my sorcerer and rouge dealt with the ranged enemies. It was cheesy and ridiculous but so much fun.

Get this game asap, if not for it being a game of a generation, than because it has zero micro transactions and the developers deserve tons of love.

Oozing with charm, heart, and humor, A Short Hike is a wonderful 3D platforming collect-a-thon that feels like comfort food in a busy industry. Inspirations from Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda, Mario, and others can be seen throughout the world, and the characters seen living out their vacation on the island all have something interesting to say. Despite it's short length, A Short Hike is a fun and engaging game that I'd recommend to any fan of platforming or exploration.

Even though it only took me about 45 minutes to 100% this game, the nostalgia it brought me was worth the $2 I paid for it. The controls are nice, the mechanics are fun, and the visuals are straight from the 90s.

A historical game that is very well written and paired with a mysterious narrative. I was surprised with how long this game was, in a good way.
