This game really got me through the hardest of times last year. It is a safe, comfortable space I remember and come back to. After a long day, I found myself opening this game, feeling all the emotions of what makes us human and what makes us need each other. Emotionally powerful, yet extremely comforting. I love Aka, his friends, his story, his growth, his grief, and his little happy moments.

I originally got this game on the switch, and spent many hours replaying until I decided to buy it on Steam. It's a short game, and I tend to come back to it for comfort along with Night in the Woods. As sad as I am about no longer having any updates because it is unfinished, this game will always be a treasure and has a special place in my heart. Thank you Cosmo Gatto 💗

This game is so cute! I can't believe it's free. The music, the art style, the inclusiveness, the writing! Did one ending and it took about 6 hours, there are a couple more endings to go.

Overall, this game gave me a mini existential crisis (we love those), but it's a cute, amazingly well-written game. Worth buying the DLC to support the devs for sure :o)

This game started to really grow on me right at the hour and a half/two hour mark, just before becoming ineligible for a refund, and I am so glad it did.

I was not quite sure about this game until then, and when I tell you it started to reel me in--it absolutely did. It's just like my choose your own adventure books as a kid. Quite dull and not much going on in the beginning, until you're hooked, making different choices each time that leads to a horrible, downright terrifying mess. It leaves you feeling uncomfortable, yet wanting for more, wanting to get to the end. Every plot twist and branch-off kept me on my toes and I am so, so glad to experience such childlike happiness and anticipation again. A remarkable choose your own adventure book experience indeed. Plus the artwork and visuals are cute and colorful!

If you like choose your own adventure books, Night in the Woods, Welcome to Elk, and Oxenfree, then this is a must get.

I find myself coming back to this game when I'm stressed and overwhelmed. Not only are the visuals calming and charming, but the audio is an absolute masterpiece. From the environmental sound effects, to the atmospheric music, to the unusual dialogue noises that are not your typical electronic bleeps and bloops, but instead made up of subtle, beautiful concoctions of intricate sounds. It's especially wonderful with headphones and a good sound system.

Not a game you must play, but a game you must experience. If you go into this wanting to play, you're out of luck. If you're here to spend some time in nature, talk to neighbors, uncover a mystery, and plant gardens, this is for you.

Replay value is insane, and I love the inclusivity and ease of name change, along with having a spectrum for appearance and pronouns. Although be prepared to save multiple times and skip blocks of texts you've already seen. Otherwise, autosaves work like a charm and it's worth it.

You can really only focus on 1-2 people to befriend or be in a relationship with throughout the course of your life in game, and you have to be *extremely* strategic as to which people you spend time with per day and per year, along with making sure you have the right stats to befriend a character and to, uh... prevent as many deaths as possible.

Not a game to be playing while eating a snack and cozying up in your room. It's the type of game you eat a snack to because it made you cry in your room. Multiple times. Every time.

As long as you're prepared to be emotionally wrecked (and I love some good ol' emotional wreckage), then buy this game 100%.
