It's a solid 6-button Touhou rhythm game at its core. All the content is unlockable in free play mode. The story mode is a hard pass.

Danmaku stages are basically a forced one-hand mode in an otherwise two-hand rhythm game. The bullet dodging minigame only provides enough difficulty to prevent you from using your dominant hand to hit the note keys.

There is no real difficulty progression as songs are grouped thematically around locations i.e. the games in which they originally appeared. Instead you need to grind to level up the score-boosting cards and come back, because by default you're only hitting rank C with full brilliant combos.

BUYER BEWARE: It was in a very rough state at release. It is still in the very same state over three months later.

AI, especially for air units is unreliable.

The user interface is clunky and desperately needs polishing and keyboard shortcuts.

One month since release and they're already making the game a DLC hell like MW5: Mercs.

Abandonware from Latin American Hotheads Studios.

Previously unofficial abandonware, now officially.

Do not buy this project. Eagle Dynamics will not and can not support it, and it will stop working any day.

Why Steam allows a company to profit off abandonware is beyond me. Do remember that the game engine is under continuous development so the company is still very much in business.

One of the few good and immersive campaigns. Proper voice acting, no speech synths.
