Really great game with people, but you need friend. Online is kinda dead.
Get ready to get frustrated, tho'. Some map have some random elements.
And most workshop map don't work nicely since the last update.

Beautiful game with a great story. The stealth mechanics are kidda gimmicki, but they work well enough to enjoy the game.

A short, simple, exploration game with a nice visual look (maybe a little too blurry).
Here, you need to find feathers to make it to the summit of your hike. But you can take your time and complete it as slow as you want.
Just a wholesome game to play on a chill night.

Un metroidvania-like dans un monde procédural, craft -> explore -> loot -> repeat.
Du contenu toujours ajouté 5 ans après la sortit du jeu. Un véritable "Test of time award" pour moi !
Jeu encore plus sympa en coop. 65 heures pour allez jusqu'au boss de fin, en prenant son temps.

Et merci le wiki pour comprendre ce qu'il faut faire pour atteindre les nouvelles zones et crafter de nouveaux items ^_^

There are no failure state in Gone Home, therefore, it's not by any stretch of imagination: a game. What you will have when buying Gone Home is a interactive virtual experience.

But does this walking simulator is any good nonetheless ?

The point of this interactive virtual experience is to find objects who will make the story continue. The story is narrated by the little sister, who will, sadly, narrate to us the most cliché story of all time. But the story is still kinda interesting anyway.

The positive points about Gone Home are:
-a good soundtrack and voice acting
-the mouseover description of object who give some character to the main personage
-a good 90's atmosphere

The "meh" points about Gone Home is:
-it's a short experience. Only 70 minutes for me to finish. But a longer experience would have certainly become boring.
-Dat 20€ price tag. Buy it with a discount.

The huge main bad point about Gone Home is the story: there is no surprise in it, you can predict it all...

There is no in-between notation on Steam, but I will give Gone Home a meh/10.
