Cute & cozy!

Fairly robust sticker creator & options; not quite 'decal in a forza game level' but certainly enough to make a lot of cute stickers, and a much easier time haha! Would be enhanced with a few more granular creator tools (more basic shapes, more granular size up and down, maybe even skew/free transform)

Cute aesthetics, simple but satisfying gameplay loop; don't buy looking for a deep simulation though, it's fairly basic. Fun, though, and the vibes are impeccable.

Would recommend for anyone with a creative itch!

If you have a tolerance for f2p mobile-esque mmo elements like having way too many currencies and systems upon systems, it's diablo, but mmo with satisfying combat and a large world to explore

i like it

It's finally here!

I have been waiting for this game for quite a while now- played the demo, and now i have my hands on the full release. Absolutely not a disappointment so far!

This is a zoo tycoon type game. Compared to the other one I play- Planet Zoo- it is much friendlier in a few, key ways;

No inbreeding management to worry about, and the more important one;
You can move, resize, re-shape and edit your enclosures, any time, with no time penalty. This might not sound like a big deal, but as someone who makes a huge mess out of every first zoo and has to clean up the spaghetti paths, wonky enclosures and nonsensical design, this is a lifesaver.

Other takeaways I've noticed so far:
The UI is pretty clean, which is important in this type of game.
The gameplay is simple, but not shallow- there is a large tech tree, incentives to find subspecies through breeding and trading, a morality system, and tasks.
The devs are incredibly responsive, answering questions and responding to feedback (and seems to be a running theme for games published by no more robots, which is lovely)
There's animal splicing mechanics. You can make a giraffe-goose. Please make a giraffe-goose.

I would recommend this game to anyone who likes zoo-tycoon type games!

This game benefits first and foremost by playing with friends; it's not deep enough for a solo experience in my opinion.

That being said, the setpieces are beautiful, the music enjoyable, the cutscenes are often quite humorous, and the characters comments and banter are enjoyable and often wholesome. The combos and fight system feels fairly solid to me, but i am not a veteran of these faster action rpgs- outside of dark souls I've not touched the genre much, so i can't tell you it holds up against the titans of the genre like bayonetta and the like, but i suspect it doesn't. The lack of lock-on can be a little frustrating as it's hard to cancel out of a combo, and it can be a little hard to read when you're meant to be dodging vs blocking, though that's probably on me (as i know the game has tells).
The game benefits greatly from making sure you are playing at a difficulty level that matches your party's power level. If you are playing on normal, chances are you shouldn't be, unless you're looking for an extremely chill time.

The biggest flaws in this game is the minion enemy ai; they don't always respond (especially in the first level, which is a weak introduction to the game- and possibly why there is so many negative reviews?) but as you progress (and up the difficulty) the inclusion of different enemy types helps the combat feel more rewarding. I hope the fact that you can stand out of range and hit them to no response will be patched out, but if you don't intentionally try and cheese, then it's not a huge deal.

I enjoy the level designs (which loop back on themselves often, and encourage exploring) and the loot system is a little like other looter games, i am reminded of destiny with the tokens and of diablo with the drops.

Overall, I think it's a fun time if you're not expecting it to be everything. Perhaps those looking for a more difficult / finely balanced game should either wait for a sale (or patches, perhaps) or look elsewhere, but I've enjoyed my time with it enough that I intend to finish the campaign.

Dear Terry,

This game makes me very happy every time I play it. I've played this and the first game for many hours and I'm still surprised and delighted by every new arc I find; which as a fellow dating sim addict, I'm sure you will agree.
The art makes me jealous that I (as an artist myself) did not draw it myself, and the writing is both hilarious, vulgar and yet sometimes wholesome and heart warming. The end credits alone are wonderful!

The characters are beautiful and I wish I was a purple gummy bear so dahlia would kiss me

Anyway I am real what's up

The game is fun- i know next to zero about music mixing and FUSER does the tricky stuff (like syncing beats and key changing songs to match a mix) for you automatically so it's fun and satisfying to throw stuff at your mix and see what sticks. More and more things to tweak and manage as you go through the campaign- including adding instrumental loops, effects, fade ins/outs; and the campaign introduces you to new techniques as you go through it so it doesn't get too overwhelming by dumping them on you at once.

You can record your mixes in freestyle mode to share on the in-game social tab, and there are multiplayer modes I haven't touched yet so i can't really comment on them.

If you're looking for rockband or DJ hero this is not it. there is much less emphasis on inputs and timing (though they are still important) and more emphasis on creativity and management. Part toy, part management game, it's something i've not played before. If you want a straightforward rhythm game there are plenty others out there :)

Early Access Review
Music's amazing. All the little details (although currently incomplete in some cases) are amazing. Building things is streamlined compared to others in this genre- it's made particularly easy to place blocks, and the crafting system promises to be in depth (although I've only scratched the surface). Challenging, so far- and the inclusion of lore and a quest system (although also currently incomplete also) just make it all the more interesting.
