This is a solid detective game that puts you in the shoes of the iconic sleuth. It’s not perfect, but it delivers a satisfying mix of investigation, deduction, and storytelling that fans of crime-solving games will appreciate. Here’s my take after finishing the game:

The Good

- Immersive Cases: The six standalone cases are varied and intriguing. From gruesome murders to industrial sabotage, there’s enough diversity to keep you engaged. Each case feels like a mini Sherlock story.
- Deduction System: The “deduction board” lets you piece together clues and form conclusions. You can even accuse the wrong suspect, which adds replayability and a sense of moral ambiguity.
- Atmosphere: Victorian London is beautifully recreated. The environments feel authentic, and the small details—like foggy streets and period-appropriate interiors—immerse you in the setting.
- Choice Matters: It’s refreshing that the game lets you choose how to resolve cases, affecting both the outcome and your perception of Sherlock’s morality.

The Not-So-Good

- Clunky Mechanics: Movement can feel awkward, and some of the mini-games are more frustrating than fun. Thankfully, you can skip them if they’re not your thing.
- Predictable Pacing: After a few cases, the gameplay loop becomes a bit predictable: gather clues, interview witnesses, solve a puzzle, and make deductions. While still engaging, it lacks surprises in structure.

If you enjoy methodical gameplay and piecing together clues at your own pace, this is worth picking up—especially if it’s on sale. It’s not action-packed or groundbreaking, but it delivers a faithful Sherlock Holmes experience.

Just be prepared for some rough edges and slower pacing. It’s more about using your brain than brawn, which is exactly what a Sherlock game should be.

Recommended for detective fans, not adrenaline junkies.

The story is interesting, and you really feel like a detective as you collect clues and connect the dots. Some puzzles are a bit tricky, and the action parts can feel awkward, but the game is still enjoyable overall. The graphics and atmosphere are great, and it’s satisfying when you figure out the right conclusions. It’s not perfect, but if you like mystery games, it’s worth trying!

PS: the scene on the trailer doesn't exist on the main story game play which disappointed me.

Hellblade is a gripping, emotionally charged journey into the mind of its protagonist, Senua, as she battles grief, trauma, and psychosis. With its stunning visuals, immersive binaural audio, and heartfelt storytelling, the game masterfully blends mythology with a raw exploration of mental illness. Combat is simple yet intense, and while some puzzles may feel repetitive, the overall experience is deeply impactful. Best experienced with headphones,

your free trial of hell :D

Dishonored is a masterclass in stealth and freedom of choice. Set in the hauntingly beautiful, plague-ridden city of Dunwall, it lets you play as Corvo, a bodyguard-turned-assassin seeking revenge after being framed for murder. The game stands out for its blend of stealth, combat, and supernatural abilities.

What I love most is the freedom to approach missions your way. You can go full stealth, leaving no trace, or unleash chaos with powers like teleportation and rat swarms. The level design is brilliant, offering multiple paths and secrets that reward exploration.

The dark, steampunk-inspired art style and compelling story make the world feel alive, while your choices significantly impact the ending. Dishonored isn’t just a game; it’s an experience that challenges you to think creatively and reflect on your actions.

Garry's Mod is a creative sandbox that’s more of a playground than a traditional game. With endless possibilities, you can experiment with physics, build contraptions, or dive into community-created modes like Trouble in Terrorist Town and Prop Hunt.

What makes it special is the freedom to create and the incredible variety of content from the Steam Workshop. One of my favorite memories is building a roller coaster with a friend—it was chaotic, hilarious, and entirely ours.

While the graphics are dated and it can feel overwhelming for newcomers, the sheer creativity and fun outweigh any flaws. If you enjoy open-ended games and have a good imagination, Garry's Mod is a must-try.
