Decent fishing game, but I'd really like a few extra features. I'd really like to see some weather information while I'm fishing. It's visible on the screen to select a lake, but not while you're actually fishing, as far as I can see, anyway. I'd also like a detailed info page about the lake I'm on including what fish are present with some info about those fish and maybe a public leaderboard. The daily records aren't nearly detailed enough. I'd really like to see breakdowns of the biggest fish caught per lake.

Overall, it's not the most detailed fishing game but it's fun. It's a bit slow, so patience is a virtue, but the price is right.

Fantastic game that's pushing the Battle Royale genre into more creative territory. The game show mechanics kill the mid-game lull that other BR games have and give you a reason to loot beyond just surviving. The movement mechanics make the combat feel fast and fluid. The guns feel solid. Kills are rewarding. Death's aren't as bad, either, because you keep most of the money you make during a match. Even if you lose, you're still earning money. The gadgets add interesting depth to the game and add some interesting strategic options, as well. Even the end circle feels better in this game. It's more of an event and it feels like both a tangible goal and reward.

tl;dr Game good. Play now.

Good game that's ruined by a toxic community. There's not enough players to make up for it and its not going to keep many people around when new people are getting berated for not being superpro every game, so it's gonna be a no from me, dog.

This is a great example of old school deathmatch with some really cool twists. I love the Mind Eraser, a special weapon that removes a kill from the target's score. I've never seen that before and I love it. The character designs and levels are interesting and colorful and make for some really good deathmatch battles. If you like old school fragging, this is where you wanna be.

It's a fun fishing game if you enter it with the mindset of going fishing, rather than progressing through a game. It's much more a simulator than a game. Play it to relax. I haven't spent any cash and I'm doing just fine progressing through the game. The trick is to find a fish you can catch quickly and keep filling up your stringer. Fish during peak times of the day (or night) and stay at a location for as long as it takes to make about 3x as much money you think you need to go to the next location.

Yes, it's grindy, but enjoyable if you approach it the right way. You can pay a few bucks for premium time if you don't have much time to fish. The only other pack i'd recommend buying is the anniversary pack because it gives you the biggest keepnet in the game and that'll let you keep more fish per day and make more money per day. Don't buy every new rod/reel/whatever as soon as you're able. You won't be able to afford it, nor is it necessary. Just settle in, fish for a few hours, make your money, and stop. Don't leave your location until you absolutely have to go back home for some reason (inventory management/buying new gear, mainly).

Best fish for money is bass and walleye. It's cheap to get to New York. Fish for walleye at night with a 1/4 oz 2/0 jig with a glow in the dark shad. You'll fill up at least a 66lb stinger every day. Grind that until you have 20-30k then go to Florida and start bass fishing. Florida bass are the easiest money I've found so far. Use a jig with a grub or a spoon for those. Keep fishing those until you have a stupid amount of money. $50k+, if possible. Then you can start thinking about going to one of the new lakes that have probably opened up to you by this time.

Now, there are some gripes. The line physics can go wonky at times when it collides with certain things, but it doesn't really effect gameplay. The need to spend so many fish bucks so often does seem excessive at first, but it is manageable. Some of the lakes just suck. They either are visually boring or just don't yield many fish.

Great map design, great gunplay, good squad mechanics, surprisingly good community for voice chat. More often than not, people are communicating and being helpful and issuing orders and requesting backup and coordinating. Helis rock. Punjis rock. Nade kills rock. I'm having a blast with this game and I hope it's around a long time. It really is a gem.

If you like pirates and the idea of doing battle on the sea, get this game. It's a lot of fun on either the captain or deckhand side of things, especially if you have a team of people that actually try to work together on voice comms and a captain that can handle basic concepts (point the SIDE of your ship towards an enemy to fire your cannons at them!). The ship combat is immensely fun and the man to man action is satisfying. It's got decent ship and character customization options but I wouldn't be surprised to see that get expanded over time. Bottom line, it's a blast to play. Probably better with friends, but still lots of fun solo.

EARLY ACCESS REVIEW!!!

It's pretty fun for what it is at this stage. It's almost a city builder, but your resources are your heroes. You send heroes on quests to earn experience, gold and loot. You can discover settlements, which you need to keep happy but I'm not exactly sure how to do that. I've sent heroes on quick quests to settlements "in despair" and actually lowered their happiness. The game needs to tell you what each settlement is in need of so you can raise their happiness more efficiently. At this point, it seems to be trial and error.

The variety of different quests is interesting and leaves the door open for even more complexity in future development. There are villains that are discovered automatically through quests and are defeated by completing "epic" quests. Defeating these villains earns extra gold and happiness I think. There are also bandits you can defeat through bounty quests, but bounties expire and there doesn't seem to be a way to remove the expired bounties from the list. I wish they just automatically disappeared once they expired.

The loot system needs some work. You get loot and it's stored in your kingdom. Your kingdom's inventory only shows 8 slots, but, as far as I can tell, you actually store a lot more than that. I've deleted many items in the hopes that I could keep new loot as opposed to selling it at the end of a quest, but I've so far not been able to do so. I feel like that's a bug where your kingdom's inventory just keeps spawning random items. Which is fine, since you basically have unlimited loot, but surely not intentional. Managing the loot equipped on your characters is cumbersome, as well. You can equip items on your heroes which increases their stats, but I don't think you can view the equipped loot and you can only equip one piece of loot at a time (so you can't equip both a sword and a shield, for example). You can change your equipped loot, but you can't see what is already equipped and I'm not sure that the stat bonus changes are reported properly when trying to equip different gear.

It also seems like there aren't many buildings available to actually build in your kingdom at this stage. I haven't earned a new building in a few kingdom levels and there's really no reason to expand my kingdom further at this point since I've built all the buildings and I don't need more space to build more. I'm sure those will come in time, but people in your kingdom still complain that there isn't enough to do or enough shops in which to spend money.

RPG Tycoon is an interesting take on the tycoon genre and I look forward to playing it more once it's a bit more complete. It's one of those games that I could easily see just sucking many hours from my life without me even noticing it.
