At this point in time I can't even fathom what the future would be like if this "creature" were to be kept alive.
I am not even afraid anymore, I'm not worried, I already know what could, and what will happen. It's only a question about time, the only reason the world hasn't gone under is simply because the "creature" hasn't felt like doing anything.
I've told everyone that is working on the project that we have to stop, that we have to do something about this, that we have to correct our mistakes and that we have to atone for our sins.
I've managed to get through to some of the other personnel, but there's simply nothing we can do. None of the higher-ups are listening to us.
Update log #43
We can no longer be saved, there is no longer any salvation, the "creature" has begun it's cleansing. If only we had done something about the matter before it got so out of hand, we may have been able to keep living in this ♥♥♥♥ of a world.
It's been a long time, I've managed to stay alive for a long time. It's been weeks, no... Rather months. My supplies are running low, and the "creature" is getting closer.
It's here, it's close, it's banging on the doors, it knows I'm here. I won't be around for much longer. Even if it leaves me alone, my food and water stock are running low. Before I dissappear, I'll tell you the secrets that I've managed to gather by observing the creature for a long amount of time.
Fact 2. It doesn't need to breath.
Fact 3. It has the ability to both hear and smell things from a super far distance.
Fact 4. After eating something or someone, it gains the ability to copy that things properties.
For example, if it ate a rabbit it would gain it's agility. If it ate a spider it would gain it's ability to
weave cobwebs. What's scary is that it already has, I've seen it all.
As far as I know it doesn't have any weaknessess, but I did manage to figure something out that may or may not help others defeat it. Take advantage of it's super abilities! Take advantage of it's hearing, of it's smell. That's honestly the only way someone can beat it. It's really fast, it's really strong and it's really durable.
Goodbye to this cruel world, may god have mercy upon you all, because "it" sure as hell won't.
