To all the people complaining about backtracking: as long as you go with the flow and don't worry about breaching every single sector to 100%, you won't have to backtrack.
I feel like this was a very solid game design choice: highlight the path forwards, while giving completionists the option to go back, à la metroidvania, to get in all those extra rooms. The upside is the devs haven't added an attention-pecking blip on a map, or anything that would break the momentum OUTWARDS.

Your main objective is to escape and, as an unstoppable force of nature, you shouldn't fret about kicking down that one door you went past 3 hours ago. Just keep moving forward!

Jokes aside, this is game is great and worth every penny

I bought this thinking I'd get a full product after a few years, not this shallow, seemingly rushed, 1.0 release.

The game deserves more, and I'll gladly change this to a positive review if we at least get an honest public statement from the game makers

A relaxing, turn-based puzzle-ish 4X-ish game with enough depth to keep you theorycrafting your way to galactical harmony.
