I have been a TD & RTS fanatic for over 20 years, ValeGuard blends TD, RTS and simple resource planning into a fun, good-looking & well thought-out package.

99.9% of the time I'll walk from a full release game that has issues preventing me from normal gameplay. HOWEVER, even though I've experienced some game stopping bugs, I'm honestly happy to wait for the patch and then continue on with it - that's how much I enjoy this little gem, I just can't walk away! (I'm sure the issues are currently being attended to - the dev is highly responsive & helpful in the ValeGuard forum (& it's a solo development, kudos & praise to the dev!)).

So even with the current issues within the game, I still keep coming back for more! Why?? Simply because it's one of the better games of this genre that I've played in a long time.

8.5/10....I'd definitely recommend if you're into this type of gameplay, it's loads of fun.

Iron out the bugs and it'll be a 9.5/10.

*Edit: I forgot to mention replayability - that's something this game has in spades!
