Amazing game, I thoroughly enjoyed playing it and all of the extra dialogue and details the remake brought. However the Xen levels started to drag towards the end. You can tell they are new additions to the game due to the level design being somewhat tedious or just trial-and-error frustrating. I got really tired of jumping puzzles and "dodge the laser". If anything it's a testament to the original half life's impeccable level design. Other than that, great game.
