Pretty interesting idea, first time experience is a bit harsh (didn't understand a lot of things) but it seems you will get used to it kinda fast. The performance optimalization is terrible though - tested on both mid-high end Intel and AMD CPUs combined with two different mid-high end AMD graphics cards and failed to maintain a stable 60FPS on LOW graphics settings, combined with occasional (around every 5-10s, depending on what I was doing) freezes lasting about half a second each
Would recommend trying, even though you are unlikely to enjoy the graphics because of the crazy low framerates.

Fun game which will entertain most people for a really long time, very enjoyable multiplayer (including splitscreen)
