This has become a favorite for 'a quick run' every now and then.

Probably the best 'idle game' I've played.

Putting this first since it seems to be the hottest subject, for those wondering about the play time: I didn't rush, but did focus on the quests at a steady rate, and spend 18.5 hours on main + side quests. I don't have all item unlocks or recipes completed yet and I've not build the latest tier of base. I have also a bunch of world tiles that I can still build, or mines to expand.

Great game with a nice mix of RPG-like exploration, base/world-building, story telling and action.
I loved the unique setting and there are some great game elements that can make you spend more time on the game after completing the quests.

I think the game needs a few more QoL and content filler patches to bring it from 'good' to 'great'. I feel that the end of the game is a little rushed and there seem to be quite some open-ended storylines and missing tile configurations.

The atmosphere is very cozy with great music. The game is both forgiving when just chilling and brutal when you're not properly prepared. The developers are very active on their Discord and have already released multiple patches fixing bugs and even adding small features.

From me this game deserves a 8.5/10.
Things on my personal wishlist:
- Modding/workshop support for custom tiles
- Edit: SOLVED! Sandbox mode with everything unlocked from the start (unlocks at 100% completion)
- NPCs with "daily" quests after you're done with them
- Edit: SOLVED! More inter-biome tiles for easier map building

Really enjoyed playing through this using my Steam Deck.

A poor and extremely basic implementation of the trader genre. Star Trader did it better, back in 1974.

I wanted to run a modded custom server with friends. Turns out self-hosting isn't possible because SCUM developers made a deal with an exclusive (and very expensive!) hoster.

This game is amazing with friends. Even if PVP isn't your thing there are many servers to be found to chill out and build to your hearts content, enjoy the survival aspects and the great graphics and gameplay systems.

Rust being updated each and every month deserves extra respect - this game keeps being fresh.

In the half hour I tried playing this game it crashed at least 10 times, in most cases with all progress lost.

I really really wanted to like this game, its super peaceful and the music is pretty. It is however, unplayable thanks to this issue. The forums are full of people having similar issues and they get zero response or support. 0/10 do not buy until fixed.
